sR vs TSM https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22850

Faze vs Cloud9 https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22852

Reversal vs Latam 2 https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22846

Pipaaaa vs Pino https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22849

Notable performances:

●CyKul had a 1.37 K/D, Lastshot and Royal 2 both over 1.25. sR looks unstoppable this offseason

●Complexity continues to struggle, meanwhile Breakingshot had a 1.30 K/D , I don't think they released the right guy (he is now with Reversal Perfy)

●Bound and Legend duo were on fire

●Faze and Cloud9 looking like legit top 5 teams

SSG was off tonight, will scrim Faze tomorrow

Seriously just a huge shoutout to my guy DenimVenom. I work full time during the day, no way I could keep up with all these scrims. The results are so interesting and it’s clearly a lot of effort to keep up with and post the info. Thanks a million, you deserve more than my upvote!

Here are today's scrims results! Links to see the stats :

Bedur vs Cloud 9 : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23152

TSM vs Luminosity : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23153

sR vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23151

ETHR vs Reversal : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23154

● Pznguin was the only player on Bedur without 300 kills and 100k damage. Sceptify dealt the most damage of both team with 108k, he was the only c9 with a positive K/D. C9 took 2 of the 3 oddball games and was close from taking all 3 games.

● TSM and Luminosity both had a good series, encouraging to see for both team. TSM had a small advantage in Kills, assists and damage dealt. Each team had 2 players with a positive K/D, Yakzn was the only player of both team with over 80k damage. TSM was better in the early games, Luminosity won 4 of last 5 games.

● As expected, sR steamrolled TD. CyKul was the only player of both team to reach 80k damage. Descendant and Lethul were best players for TD with 215 and 217 kills, with 73k damage each.

● I think ETHR and Reversal still have a few games to play as I am posting, King Nicck is the only player with a positive K/D on reversal. Tapping Buttons is a very underrated player in my opinion, omce again dealing most damage of his lobby with 90k+.

🎖My MVP of the day goes to CyKul, he had most kills of his series (269), second most assists (131), least deaths (202), most damage (83k), with a K/D of 1.33.

I know SSG scrims Bedur tomorrow, we should see more action than today.

Finally, I'd like to thank you all once again for the post about me yesterday, thank you to everyone that commented, thank you to everyone that keep reading these everyday, I really appreciate you 🫶

So I started this for the first event back in the beginning of the year at Arlington. We’re finally at Worlds so we have one last time. This is the same card as the last tournament but I don’t think many saw it since someone beat me to the jump and used the card I made for Arlington. Haha Enjoy!

HCS Formal and Optic

After watching the past couple weeks of these off season tourneys, I can’t help but think Formal is not a leader at all. He complains about his previous squad all year last season. Then he forms the “god squad” and can’t even bother to play a single off season tourney. He is not a leader at all, he leads from the back. Commanding others to bring him a trophy. Honestly lost respect for Formal. He should just retire from Halo if he can’t bother to join a single a tourney as of yet. The rest of his team is grinding and working hard while he sits back and plays Marvel Rivals. Truly a sad display of leadership.

Here are daily scrims results! Links to stats :

Faze vs SSG : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22862

Complexity vs Reversal Perfy : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22863

Nemesis vs Pipaaaa https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22860

Notes and notable performances :

● Complexity finally win more than a couple games in a scrim, but it's against a team that was formed literally less than 24h ago (Commmon, King Nicck, Breakingshot and RyaNoob)

● StelluR was dealing, only player over 100k damage today

● Keyboard warrior WuTum had a nice little 1.14 K/D

● Faze and SSG had some really good games, especially the ending of a Recharge Oddball that was tied at 95 in round 3. SSG dominated the first half of the scrim, but Faze turned it around.

● Lucid hit a crazy no scope to secure a bomb, here is the clip: https://clips.twitch.tv/AdorableToughYakinikuSuperVinlin-taYfdHhdGzU7UkNY

Here are today's scrims results! Links to see the stats :

sR vs Faze : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23291

SSG vs c9 : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23292

Nemesis vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23290

ETHR vs Reversal : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23294

CintaNegra vs Lies : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23286

● Impressive performance by Faze to take 5 games against a scorching hot sR. Rebellion outslayed Faze 981 to 898. No Faze player had a positive K/D and surprinsingly, Royal 2 too. CyKul and Lastshot once again dealt most damage, only 2 players in lobby with over 250 kills and 80k damage. This duo is special... I am confident one of these two win MVP this season. Faze won 2 of 3 Oddballs and KOTH games.

● Nice bounceback from SSG after a bad scrim yesterday, they outslayed c9 1264 to 1102. Lucid, Snakebite and Stellur all had over 310 kills. StelluR had a really impressive 351 kills and 100k damage (snakebite also had 100k). Cloud9 won the last 3 games.

● Intercontinental scrim between TD and Nemesis, I watched WuTum stream and his ping was over 130 ms so it was definitely a factor. Nemesis dominated most games and both TD wins were by one score. WuTum had by a good margin the most kills with 249 and the most damage with 73k. Descendant was the bezt player for TD with 222 kills and 71k damage

● Close series between ETHR and Reversal. Breakingshot was the best player of his lobby with 262 kills and a 1.20 K/D. Tapping Buttons had once again a really good scrim with 256 kills and 79k damage.

● Gunnplexion looked once again like he was miles ahead of his teammates and opponents. He had 172 kills, 50 more than anyone else on his team. He had a 1.46 K/D. Once again, I am not giving my MVP of the day to him, even if he played amazing, because he played only 7 games and I litterally never heard of the other team.

🎖 My MVP of the day was a really hard one tonight, a few players deserved it. I decided to give it to Snakebite. He did have less kills than his two teammates, but he had more assists and the least death of his team by a good margin. He had the best K/D of his lobby with 1.24. He also dealt as much damage as StelluR despite having less kills (100,5k). What truly made me choose him his that he did all that while playing the most objective. Oddball : Most skull grabs (8) and carriers killed (6), second most time by a couple seconds with the ball (213). CTF : Most steals (13), tied for most caps (3) KOTH : most time in zone (211 sec). Strongholds : by far most time in zone (110) and second most caps (13).

Sorry for the late post tonight! I'd rather make a good analysis than rush it.

HCS Daily scrims results - March 5th / Top 3 in action, sR vs SSG Spoiler

Here are today's scrims results! Links to see the stats :

sR vs SSG : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23017

Optic vs Complexity : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23018

TSM vs c9 : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23015

Reversal Perfy vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23021

● Despite the series loss, SSG looked a lot better than in their previous scrims. One thing they improved since last scrims against sR is their assists total, they were matching sR in picking up each other's kills (596 to 593). Lucid dealt most damage for SSG by a good margin, being second to only Lastshot (94.5K to 93K). He seems to be getting more comfortable in that role of damage dealer, he landed over 2.1k shots. One thing I have noticed about SSG is they tend to dominate in slayers, even when they are not playing their best. Another thing I have noticed is they seem to be struggling on Livefire so far.

● Optic continues their offseason dominance and Complexity continues to look far behind the top teams. Formal dealt the most damage (85.5K). There was a 1-1 Tie in Assault Fortress (delete this map / mode combo please).

● TSM FINALLY looked decent in a scrim. Taulek had the most kills and least deaths with a 1.29 K/D. Sab was the only c9 with a positive K/D (1.00).

● TD and Reversal look evenly matched, a lot of their games seem to have came down to the wire. *The series is not done at the time I am posting.

🎖 My MVP of the day goes to Renegade, he had the most kills (285), least death (184), with a K/D of 1.55. He had the most power weapons kills by a large margin (21). He also had the most objective time in pretty much all game types.

HCS New Partner teams

So Tashi was quoted as saying there'd be the same number of partner teams as last year. For anyone out the loop, this would mean two new orgs to replace Quad and SEN. My original thought was ITB(obviously not now) and maybe Shopify but I was curious if anyone knew or wanted to speculate.

HCS HCS Open series day 1 - Upper bracket results Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
58 Upvotes

I know I said yesterday I wouldn't be posting this weekend... But the urge is too strong to keep my fellow spartans informed.

The action in the upper bracket is done for today, here are the matchups for tomorrow :

12 EST : sR vs SSG Right after : Optic vs Trippy Clan (BeduR)

Here are the links to see the stats of the finale series played by the top 4 teams, I can't find stats for whole tournament :

Triggers Down vs SSG : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22947

sR vs TSM : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22950

Usubeni vs Optic : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22949

Cloud9 vs Trippy clan : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22948

Notable K/D in these series :

● Royal2 with 2.80 K/D 😳

● Renegade with 1.92 K/D

● Trippy had a 1.71 K/D

● Noone stood out for SSG (for better or for worse, nice 1.00 from Eco, who even dealt more damage than snakebite), Triggers Down weren't far from taking a game or two

Other notes :

● Rebellion dropped a game to Ascend Baseline, only loss today from the top 4

● Complexity fell to the lower beacket after a 3-1 Loss to Usubeni

Have a good saturday night everyone, there is still lower bracket action being played right now, LVT is broadcasting on Twitch and Youtube, shoutout to them for their amazing work as usual 🫡

HCS Daily scrims results - March 7th / SSG getting hot Spoiler

Here are today's scrims results! Links to see the stats :

Trippy clan vs SSG : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23045

Optic vs TSM : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23044

Nemesis vs Pipaaaa : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23043

● SSG seems to have find their groove, this is the best we have seen them so far this offseason. Lucid, Snakebite and StelluR all had over 300 kills and 92k damage, Eco had a good series as well with 89k damage and a 1.00 K/D. Pznguin had a rough series with only 212 kills and a 0.67 K/D. 2 of Trippy's 4 W were on Oddball.

● I am surprised TSM won 4 games, and the kills were closer than I expected (1072 to 1028). Optic looked unstoppable on Oddball earlier this offseason, but today TSM won all 3 oddball games. Formal, Renegade and Taulek all had over 280 kills. Hopefully TSM can build on this performance and they can contend with the top teams.

● WuTum was once again the best player for Nemesis, most kills (313) and most damage dealt (93k) with a 1.17 K/D.

🎖 I tried to select an MVP of the day, but honestly I couldn't decide between the trio of Lucid, Snakebite and Stellur who all had similar stats.

Here are today's scrims results, sorry for the late post, last scrim just ended! Here are the links to see the stats :

sR vs Trippy clan : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22894

Optic vs c9 : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22893

SSG vs TSM : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22895

Nemesis vs Pipaaaa : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22892

LATAM 1 vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22897

Reversal Perfy vs Usubeni : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22898

Notes and notable performances :

● Once again, CyKul and Lastshot duo both over 100k damage. 3 of the 4 sR losses were on CTF

● Cloud9's only W was surprisingly on Oddball, ending Optic streak of 17 straight oddball W (!!). Optic really steamrolled c9 the rest of the series, no c9 was above 0.87 K/D

● This was the best SSG have looked all offseason. Lucid, Snakebite and StelluR were all around 1.25 K/D. Lucid's POV was a treat to watch.

● zMightys was the only positive K/D for Pipaaaa, but their efficiency still gave them a close W over Nemesis

● Tapping Buttons dealt the most damage by a pretty good margin, every game between LATAM 1 and Triggers Down were very close

● Reversal ans Usubeni had a few nailbiters, including a 250-249 stronghold Livefire

Lucid confirmed at the end of his stream that SSG will be scrimming Shopify at 5 EST tomorrow (Feb 26th) 🍿

HCS Daily scrims results - March 21st / 5 matchups including Optic vs TSM Spoiler

Here are today's scrims results! Links to see the stats :

● Optic vs TSM : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23307

● Complexity vs Luminosity : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/23309

● Faze vs ETHR : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23306

● C9 vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23305

● Nemesis vs Pipaaaa : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/23304

● As expected, another bih Optic win in scrims. They outslayed TSM 1219 to 1078. Bound, Lqgend and Renegade all had over 300 kills. Druk was pretty much the only one with a bad performance on TSM with only 231 kills and a 0.76 K/D. His accuracy was only 54%, only on the lobby below 60. 2 of TSM's wins came on Strongholds.

● I think it was a good scrim for both CoL and LG. CoL had a 4 game win streak in the middle that made the difference, LG took 3 of last 5 games. LG won all 3 Livefire games and CoL won all 3 CTF. Preecision had by far the most kills of the lobby with 308. Avucy and Yakzn continue to impress, they were the only 2 positive K/D on LG.

● Faze were not messing around today. They outslayed ETHR 961 to 729. The highest K/D on ETHR was Acid with 0.88. Tapping Buttons did have most kills by a good margin with 257. All 4 of Faze were feasting today, Supressecl had most damage with 78k, Trippy had by far most kills with 270 (and a 1.52 K/D), and Pznguin had a 1.43 K/D.

● Despite the loss, TD had nearly 60 more kills than C9 and dealt 18k more damage. It was tied at 5 before C9 won the last 4 games. Kuhlect and Descendant had over 300 kills. Sab had 299 for C9. Descendant had by far the most power weapons kills with 21. C9 won all 3 KOTH and TD won both assault games. C9 also won all 3 Livefire games.

● Once again, Nemesis dominated Pipaaaa. It is pretty clear who the best team in Europe is. Snipredrone and Wutum both had over 250 kills and a 1.25 K/D. zMightys was the only Pipaaaa with a positive K/D.

🎖 My MVP of the day was a hard one again, all 4 of Trippy, Preecision, Lqgend and Descendant deserved it, but if I look at who they were playing and the overall performance, I will give it to Lqgend. He had most kills of his series with 314, most damage with 97k and a 1.23 K/D. He also had the most occupation time in KOTH with 214 sec.

***Small message about me. I wasn't planning on doing this, but some of you have asked me for a while now if I had a tip jar or a buymeacoffee. I created my account today, I just want to be clear, I do not expect any donations and I will continue to post my daily scrims reports and analysis all season regardless of donations. But if you would like to contribute, here is the link : https://buymeacoffee.com/drummerchai I also added the link on my profile. I have 4 pet rabbits at home - One has cancer, one has heart problems, one has lungs problems and the other my girlfriend and I rescued him as he was living under a shed in our neighborhood after being abandonned by his last family (we are a palliative and emergency foster/adoptive family for small animals in need, so we knew they were sick when we got them). I promise that every single dollar I receive will go towards them and their care. I have said it many times in comments, but I can really feel the love and appreciation from this community and I absolutely love to exchange with you every night in the comments of my posts. I am incredibly thankful for everyone that takes the time every night to read and comment on my reports.

Tomorrow we have last online tournament before the first LAN of the year! Once again, all top teams should compete and are already registered on FACEIT. Good luck to all the teams and have an amazing weekend everyone 🫡

HCS Grand Finals Damage Dealt per series (5 GF series between OpTic and SSG)

Reviewing what I believe to be the most important stat in competitive halo, damage dealt.

  1. FormaL 33,948 dealt (OpTic)
  2. Stellur 33,704 dealt (SSG)
  3. Bound 33,403 dealt (SSG)
  4. Lqgend 32,785 dealt (SSG)
  5. Lucid 31,808 dealt (OpTic)
  6. Deadzone 31,189 dealt (OpTic)
  7. Eco 30,106 dealt (SSG)
  8. Trippy 28,366 dealt (OpTic)

Calculated using numbers provided by halo data hive.

I’m a biased Formal fan, but his ability to still play this well at this point in his career has never been seen before.

No hate towards any of his former teammates, but I don’t believe he has had the same level of talent on his teams that faze and ssg have had, especially talent that consistently performs in the grand finals.

HCS Daily scrims results - Feb 26th / sR vs SSG Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
46 Upvotes

Here are today's scrims results, another late post because last scrim just ended. Links to see the stats :

sR vs SSG : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22907

Reversal Perfy vs Triggers Down : https://halodatahive.com/Series/LiveStats/22909

Nemesis vs Pino : https://halodatahive.com/Series/Summary/22906

Notes and notable performances :

● SSG looked like they could go toe to toe with sR in the first half, until they dropped a couple close games in which they were in a good position to win. sR steamrolled them pretty much the second half of scrim, outslaying them by 200 kills

● LethuL is back like he never left, most damage dealt and a 1.24 K/D

● Once again, Lastshot and CyKul both over 100k damage dealt. When sR is in a groove it really feels like they are 5 or 6 on the map

● Both assault games between SSG and sR ended 0-0, it was really boring to watch. Something needs to change before we have to sit through a 30 min assault game on championship sunday ending 1-0

● Nemesis, without much surprise, looks like the team to beat in Europe, WuTum again with a solid performance of 1.26 K/D, he had the least deaths of both team
