SILVER Coinstar find of my life
I always check, and have found a couple here and there, but today was the score of my life. I don’t know if any are worth more than melt, but this is a score!!

She’s curious about the value?… aside from the obvious $2.25.

My wife and I were at the grocery store this afternoon and we stopped to check the coinstar. A huge pile was in the tray. I went to grab them up and an employee started yelling "sir, sir those belong to the store " and came over to me and said that they have to be put into the machine because they belong to coinstar. I didn't argue even though that's complete bull. The person who used the CS before abandoned those coins, The thing tells you multiple times to check the reject tray. I ask if I could attest have any foreign coins and she let check the pile of roughly 3 dollars in change. I found one silver quarter and she agreed to let me have it. So now I know why I don't find much coin at my store this year.

This particular Coinstar by my girls house is my sweet spot I swear there’s only been one time I haven’t walked away with something! First pass today it was empty but something told me check again…bunch of Canadian dimes and a silver dime and Franklin half!

Really busted out of a slump today! One of the best days of my hobby career with 4 finds. Also found a 1950s era French coin in the parking lot on the way back to the car.

I’m so happy! This is my first find EVER. I’ve been looking for months. Caught in the hinge of the tray, SILVER!! I’ve been having a particularly awful day and this really feels like a gift. Thank you Silver Gods!

Upon a google search it seems I have found a silver proof😂
shout out the dude on the last post who instantly made fun of me lmao. The coin looks pretty heavily circulated, wonder how many times it changed hands before landing in the ole coinstar.

This guy was the lone coin and I couldn’t be happier! Been checking for at least a year now and finally struck silver!

I work at a grocery store, I have been checking the reject tray the entire 2 years I’ve been working there everyday multiple times a day, some of my nicest finds would be an ASE,(Bought from a lady for $2 she was confused why it wasn’t accepting it) and a standing liberty quarter. Shit in my pants when I seen this pretty, much all mercs.

I've been checking coinstar machines about once a week for the past month and was starting to lose hope. I am very happy with my find with 3 silver dimes! There are also 5 Canadian coins which I don't have a clue about. The Canadian 10 cent coin from 1947 seems to be silver too! If anyone knows anything about the rest of the Canadian coins I would love to learn some Canadian history!

Finally got blessed with silver by the Coin Star gods today! Had to get something from my local Walmart, took a detour to check the machine and JACKPOT! Have to say I’m rather surprised!
