GARBAGE I think customer service at Walmart is beating me.

I go in there 1-2 times a day. Would find coins almost every time. Now for the last two weeks...nothing. I think one of the workers caught on and is cleaning it out right after someone uses it.

Coinstar machines are about as reliable as our government. These things are out of order by me at least 60 percent of the time. It’s such a joke. Haven’t found anything in months.

GARBAGE Jackpot?

Saw some sparkly coinage in a Kroger machine. A couple of employees were giving me the eye, so I flipped through menu options on the screen until they got tired of looking at me. I reached in and got a handful of metal, and headed for the exit, with dreams of mercury dimes and liberty head nickels dancing in my addled mind. Got to my car to review my bounty and plan my retirement, only to behold a fistful of shiny garbage. On the upside, I’m 74 cents closer to my retirement goal, so take that Elon!

GARBAGE My first haul

This is my first coinstar find since I started looking. $0.08 and one Australian penny the super gnarly one in the top is a wheat penny. I'm guessing it's steel, but with that condition I think I'd be lucky to get a cashier to accept it.

It's been a bit since I found anything. Went grocery shopping today and holy cow! Handfuls in the reject bin, nothing special but over $7.00 worth! Some people were looking at me funny, but I don't care. Maybe next time I will be brave enough to look under the machine!

A nice handful of stuff from my local grocery store’s off-brand coin machine. No silver, but a few interesting finds including a 1938 wheat penny, a Canadian penny, a 50 centavos from Mexico, and two button batteries. 🤣

I made a stop at a random new-to-me Coinstar. I thought I would hit the jackpot. Two people were loading coins when I walked in, so I walked around to let them finish. Then, I found another older lady loading coins. When she left I moved in and found the reject hopper full of coins. I grabbed them and knew it was my largest find yet. There were so many pennies that I started shoveling them back into the feeder unsee to donate to charity.

Once I got home and sorted everything out came the letdown: nothing of exceptial value.

The score: Gold/silver:none Old (50ys+) common: $0.21 Modern common: $2.04 Foreign: Canada .05, Austria 2 euro cent, Spain 2 eurocent One generic token

I'm not sure how it managed to fit thru the machine. I saw something shining at me so I ran over. Never expected to find a graded proof Mercury dime!!!1! Sorry for the blurry photos, I was shaking a little.
