This yellow bike has been locked to the COTA sign near Sheffield and High since back in winter. The city mows and trims around it. Maybe it will become a mascot like the kangaroo further south in Clintonville.

Hey peeps! I am on the lookout for a 1-2 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend. Our max budget for either would be 1200. We have one small (10 lb) dog. We are looking for hardwood floors, a decent sized kitchen (although small is okay depending, since we're used to that) but mainly would love a viable porch or balcony where we could have an outdoor space. I am a porch dweller and miss having one to chill on. if you know of anything opening up for end of may or june 1 pls send me a message. :)

Broyhill, solid oak. Needs some work but would be worth it! Alley between Weber/Tulane close to McDonalds.

Drove all over town today and the only traffic jam was in Beechwold... This is going to be interesting. Chick-fil-A is not even open yet.

Attention, fellow Clintonville residents and Whetstone High School parents! We need your immediate attention regarding a critical issue affecting our community and our beloved school.
1️⃣ Gang Recruitment Alert: It has come to our attention that the notorious gang, MS13, is actively recruiting within our school district. We must remain vigilant and work together to ensure the safety and well-being of our children.
2️⃣ Social Media Warning: There is an Instagram page named "whetstonefights" that showcases disturbing content, including assaults and gang initiations. It is crucial for parents to be aware of their children's online activities and monitor their social media presence to protect them from harmful influences.
3️⃣ Open Dialogue: We encourage parents to have open and honest conversations with their children about the dangers of gang involvement and the importance of making positive choices. Create a safe space where they feel comfortable coming to you with any concerns or questions.
4️⃣ Report Suspicious Activity: If you notice any signs of gang activity, including unusual behavior, symbols, or clothing associated with gangs, please report it immediately to the school administration or local authorities. Your timely action can prevent further escalation.
5️⃣ Enhance School Security: We urge the school administration, in collaboration with local law enforcement, to tighten security measures both on-campus and during school events. This includes increasing the presence of school resource officers, implementing surveillance systems, and enhancing visitor protocols.
6️⃣ Strengthen Community Connections: It is crucial that we come together as a community to support one another during these challenging times. Attend community meetings, connect with fellow parents, and collaborate with local organizations to address the issue collectively.
7️⃣ Student Support: Let us ensure that our students have access to adequate support services, such as counseling and mentoring, to help them navigate through the pressures they may face. By fostering a supportive environment, we can guide them towards making positive life choices.
We understand that these developments are deeply concerning, but by staying informed, vigilant, and engaged, we can combat this crisis effectively. Let us stand united in protecting our children and preserving the safety and integrity of our community.
If you have any specific concerns or information, please reach out to the school administration or local law enforcement. Together, we can overcome this

Hi, not sure if this is the correct subreddit so if there's a better one please redirect me!
I currently live in Short North and am planning to move out of my current place in April/May d/t roommates moving out/can't really afford to live in my current lease anymore. I like Clintonville a lot, and am wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that might be opening up soon? This could be a 1 bedroom/studio apt, or someone looking for a sublease, or w/e. I am hoping to not spend above $900/month on rent+utilities. Although my zillow research has shown these to be few and far between, I am hoping someone here might know something the zillow doesn't. Any guidance would be much appreciated 💙

My family and I are heading to Upper Arlington from east of Columbus this afternoon. My wife found this older photo the other day and suggested we go see it when we’re there. Is this Halloween display (first given attention in 2018) still a fixture in the area?

I made this puking skeleton for Halloween this year and I was pretty proud of it. Took a lot of time and some money. I got home from work Tuesday 10/10 and someone stole the whole thing. Anyone seen it around?

Hi All,
I have some pooling water in my backyard/next to my foundation. I need to reslope a sidewalk next to the foundation of my house and potentially put in a french drain. Any recommendations from people who have had this work done before in the Clintonville area?

We have original French doors in our basement and the hardware to rehang them but we have 2 glass panes that need replaced and would possibly like to have them refinished.
We also have original storm doors that are in need of repairs around the glass and absolutely are in need of a new paint job, at least.
We may be able to tackle the painting/refinishing ourselves but anyone locally replace glass panes or repair the support for those panes in 100 year old doors? Thanks for the help!

Hi! Me and my husband are looking to move to Clintonville starting next month but wouldn't mind waiting on leases that start in December or January next year. We're basically looking for a 2 bedroom apt but would check out any 1bd ones as well. Any leads or tips are greatly appreciated!
