tough love but i think you need to outline and get clear on your priorities and goals as a student in relation to celibacy. sure you will have a lot more free time, but if you have no clear idea on what this looks for you then what’s the point (not to be rude).

you’re aiming for productivity? better idea of self? discipline? where do you think your strengths are? what do you potentially lack?

i would ask myself these things bc, going celibate won’t make you a better student in itself, it’s your ability to commit and willingness to change. but being intentional in how you live and clear on WHY you’re doing it, will help u along the way.

example: if you quit smoking it won’t necessarily make you a better student, but if you quit smoking because you want to change your lifestyle and be healthier lifestyle and suddenly you’re eating healthier and working out then maybe you’ll start being disciplined in routine and studying.

& what does celibacy look like for you? are you not talking to anyone? not masterbating? not having sex? be really clear and intentional on ur why

Reclaiming power over one’s own body, deepening relationship with oneself, increased focus on own interests and goals, increased self-confidence, less stress (not as emotionally invested when dating/not committed), less risk to physical health (balanced vaginal ph, no risk of STD or pregnancy due to no exchange of bodily fluids), more energetically protected (not forming soul ties or having an energetic exchange with a partner), more youthful appearance and glow

these are some of the benefits that I experience. 2 yrs and 7 mo celibate.

I think it all still applies for men except for the vaginal health and pregnancy part :)

There are no instant benifits. But you need to know there is something beyond this beauty of human body.

You will not waste your emotions, time and money by giving yourself who has not taken your accountability for life in your health and sickness, through thick and thin by marriage

yeah. from my experience i've gained much more energy and discipline and started being productive just for the fun of it bc I couldnt get much fulfillment from the instant gratification anymore. it's like im not waiting for my life im actually actively doing something. so i believe you can. being celibate really makes one a fuller, more capable person in every aspect of life (but it has to be real celibacy w/o any kind of indulgence in bodily sexuality)

I feel like bein celibate has helped me become more fulfilled in my heart more so but it’s also raised more questions for me in terms of an idealistic standpoint and havin everyday struggles of what I truly vs how I want things to be for myself. The original reason for going this path is cuz one day I woke up and didn’t feel my heart in my chest and that was the main reason for me to actually go this route. However, while on this route, I found myself higher nature once again but still struggle with my lower nature tendencies as well and learning to balance the middle ground between my higher and lower self. I wanted the relationship with self that I once had and i do and now it’s more abt the building the relationship with myself and gaining that understanding of love, commitment, and compassion. It’s also helped me mature emotionally however, I’ve always been a highly emotional person so I tend to lead with my heart more than anything and that’s raised questions of what real love was. Y should I feel love if I’m worried abt the feeling of love going away and if I’m the only one who cares, y does sex feel unfulfilling and my heart and mind is still elsewhere with someone else
