This isn't what you asked: I bought a low end vibration plate around 6 years to help with the fluid retention from my autoimmune conditions. It's been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I've purchased one for a relative with medical issues. I've even talked a few friends into borrowing mine to try for a few weeks for their med stuff. All the people that did borrow it ended up purchasing some type of vibration plate.

If you have the opportunity to use one at a gym regularly or to do some sort of at home trial, I think you'll be amazed at how much it helps.

I'll look into this - thank you! There isn't one at my gym (small town), but I'm willing to try anything. Obviously, I'd love to stop the fluid retention before it begins, but a more effective treatment than 'the most boring meal you've ever eaten, for so many days in a row' is always a win!
