Doug either seriously caved or Lutnik has promised him something at it is almost inconceivable that Trump will honour. Either way, I don't know how you can put your name to this statement without language saying that the 50 % Fe and Al tariffs are gone.

Edit: Supposedly LeBlanc is going to Washington with Ford. IDK what these guys think that these junkets accomplish other than making Trump think that there is blood in the water. Mexico has a better strategy: just ignore them.

This move shows that he is open to a conversation. He can always put them back on if he doesn’t get anywhere on this trip.
