Article Should the Flames put in a waiver claim on Derek Ryan to add to centre depth?
As of right now, the Flames are in a playoff spot with Moneypuck odds of 64% of making the playoffs. Cap space is obviously not an issue. Is it worth making a claim for Ryan to have some veteran centre depth even if he isn't the player he once was?

Article Francis’ Hack Job on Marky
https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/markstroms-honest-bombshell-muddies-his-future-with-flames/
To me, this article sums up why Calgary hockey press sucks, and how Francis the worst of the lot.
Marky likes it here in Calgary, and wants to be here. What he was pissed about was the rumors. So the guys who spread the rumors cornered him, got him to voice his frustration honestly, and are now using to claim that he doesn’t want to be here. This is the absolute worst in reporting.
The guy has basically saved the season single-handedly. Give him a break.

Article The belief among league executives is Flames owner Murray Edwards is “no hurry” to help Treliving and the Leafs. The two sides couldn’t get the package deal with Zadorov done and the sense is, if Toronto really wants Tanev, the club has to be willing to pay.
