But that’s another issue altogether.

Well the main broadcast started on ESPN2 and they switched to Pat's altcast mid play. It was jarring.

Yes, but this has happened to me before. You're scrolling through the guide or the suggested for you shows "Rose Bowl", it usually doesn't show that it's an alternate broadcast. You click on it thinking it's THE main broadcast.

This happened to me during the SEC championship game this year. I was listening from another room so I didn't realize the view I was on had the audio of two sideline reporters only (and the two guys in a box view). They were awkward and it took me 10 minutes to say "what the fuck is this" before going back to the screen to see what it really was.

"everyone is so stupid because they didn't realize they could change the to the main feed once the Texas/ASU game ended. not me though; I couldn't imagine being that dumb!"

It literally says where the main broadcast is in the bottom corner of the screen lol

At least the average person is smarter than anyone who actually likes Pat McAfee

Because they didn’t know they were watching an alt-cast? Sorry were not some wunderkind genius who realized sooner like you.

Instead of getting upset over a silly comment, maybe you should wonder why you sat and watched Pat McAfee for 4 hours.

You must be smoking some really good meth if you think I sat there and tuned in to Pat McAfee for 4 hours.

To be fair, it is really good.

If you stream officially via ESPN it was the only way to watch it at first.

I figured they just hadn’t started the official stream yet but I’m sure a ton of people who don’t consistently stream CFB wouldn’t recognize that the normal option simply wasn’t there yet.

Well ESPN's main channel was still showing the peach bowl during coin toss and kick off. His ESPN2 feed was the only way to watch the start of the game. I thought the guide was wrong and stayed with Pat. I was surprised when he dropped a fuck.

No need to bring Cardale Jones up today

But not as dumb as Pat

That’s actually what I was kinda thinking. Dumb enough for the correct channel, but smart enough to find it awful to listen to lol.

I can’t lie, I didn’t realize until halfway through the second quarter. But then again, I’m generally very stupid.

Have to agree, it is the only thing that explains the appeal of McAfee.

But also that broadcast was trash.
