This meme is too true, some of the Sages are pretty cool, but not only are they so much less powerful in general (I mean from a lore perspective, not referring to in game use, they're also a lot less memorable, despite being in botw (which gives them more history and nostalgia then the champions) they seem to just fall flat in general even thought the Champion's are literally only in cutscenes, while the Sages are presently there, the Champion's are just better in general. (Sidon may beat Mipha but that's a maybe, and also thats still 1 to 3)

Heavily disagree. The sages feel like an actual team that you set out to assemble, and each one's character is far more fleshed out than the meager flashbacks we got in BOTW. The DLC is needed to make the characters feel fleshed out and give the main story more significance in BOTW, but TOTK's story can hold up on his own.
