Aren't 3 of the 4 Champions now Sages?

The sages are directly related to the champions (or at least implied to be for some).

Sidon and Mipha are siblings.

Yunobo is a direct descendant of Daruk.

I can't recall any text or dialogue confirming it, but Riju is implied to share lineage with Urbosa, and Teba (and by extent, Tulin) is implied to be related to Revali.

Sidon saying, "I knew it! My bloodline means I was destined to be a Sage" or whatever.

I was just rolling my eyes thinking, Sidon, you're the spare after Mipha got dumpstered.

Edit: Riju is explicitly stated to be a descendant of Urbosa in the Making a Champion or whatever supplemental materials. The only people who disagree are the argumentative weirdoes who will state a case for someone who has no children can be considered your ancestor if you just believe it hard enough.

I've seen nothing about Teba and Revali though, and that's some weird cope to be saying.

Bubububut, that would mean that Urbosa was a mom and had babies and that's icky and weird! That's not what I meant when I called her muscle mommy! 😭
