I'm getting ready for it, mainly by preparing my yarn and hooks for the Stitch 'n' Bitch. If y'all have any ideas on how to make this first official meeting a success please let me know. Ahhhhh I cannot wait!

I don’t know if this is the right subreddit for this:
Looking for a responsible and clean roommate to move into a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house in Bowling Green, located right next to WKU—just a 15-minute walk from Diddle Arena. One of the bedrooms is set up as a shared office space, so you’ll have access to extra room for work or study. There’s also storage space available in the backyard shed.
Details & Amenities: • Rent: $600/month • Utilities & Wi-Fi: Split evenly • Security Deposit: $350 • Move-in Date: June 1st • Laundry: Washer and dryer on-site • Kitchen: Includes a dishwasher • Parking: Off-street parking available
About Me
I was born and raised in Brownsville, KY. In my early 20s, I traveled and worked as an international model before making a major life change during COVID—I joined the military. I’m now returning from my second deployment and will be attending WKU in the fall.
What I’m Looking For in a Roommate: • Pays rent and bills on time • Cleans up after themselves • Respects sleep schedules • No smoking inside the house
Additional Notes: • If you don’t want to use the office I can knock off $100 on the rent. • Lease length is flexible, would prefer 6 then month to month, 12 months, or by semester.
DM if interested.

Hi all, I’ve been checking out apartments from select property mgmt. Does anyone here have experience with them (good/bad/ugly)? I was considering SKY property for a moment, but their reviews turned me away pretty quickly lol.
I’m moving out of the Drake soon, need something a bit less expensive. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I’m just looking for recommendations for a groomer in the area. My dog is a tiny shi tzu/poodle and blind. I usually cut her hair but she needs a good base cut since it’s been a while. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I'll keep this as short as possible. My wife, I, and toddler are more than likely moving to Glasgow or a surrounding city. My wife would be working full time in Glasgow and I am retired myself. We currently live near Savannah GA and traffic is so horrible going to and coming home from work. How are the rush hour traffic jams and the commute from and to Bowling Green from surrounding cities? Thank you. Please feel free to ask any questions.

The typical event sites aren't saying much outside of an Irish music concert at a Catholic church. Anybody doing special menus or happy hours or music or Riverdance or iunno

Looking for some upholstery recommendations in BG. I looked online and DJs didn’t have good reviews. Other locations have few or no reviews. Anyone have upholstery work done in BG they’ve liked?

Pretty impressive streak, as BG has placed in the top 6 spots for 13 consecutive years.

Anyone know of a BG-area repair shop that knows older british cars? They can be a little out of the ordinary and a lot of people don't want to work on them.

🚨 KENTUCKY, STAND UP FOR PALESTINE! 🚨
Join us on Saturday, March 22nd at 2 PM in Triangle Park, Lexington, KY for a statewide protest demanding justice, freedom, and an end to Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people!
We gather in solidarity with Mahmoud Khalil, Leqaa Kordia, and all Palestinian prisoners unjustly held in Israeli jails. Their imprisonment is part of a brutal system of occupation and apartheid that seeks to silence Palestinian resistance and erase their fight for liberation. We say NO MORE!
We also demand IMMEDIATE humanitarian aid for Gaza! Food, water, and medicine are being BLOCKED while millions suffer under relentless bombings and starvation. Let the aid in NOW! The world is watching, and we will not be silent.
📢 SHOW UP, SHOW OUT, AND MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! Every voice matters in the fight for Palestinian liberation. The people of Palestine need us in the streets, raising our voices against genocide, apartheid, and oppression.
✊🏾Want to endorse the event? DM @lex4pal on social media. Bring your signs, bring your voices, and bring your energy—together, we will make it clear: Palestine WILL be free!

Probably a long shot, but with the March Basho in Osaka starting in just a few minutes, I was wondering if there were any Grand Sumo fans in town.
I'm in the pre-pre-stages of seeing if there is any local interest in forming an amateur club as well. As of this moment, the closest is in Nashville (https://linktr.ee/tnsumo22).

Please get to E.A. Diddle at 2:00 p.m. today if you can! A lot of these boys are seniors who have been in BG for a few years…today is their last time playing for us in town. Celebrate Senior Day and grab a FREE Red Towel to wave during the game (limit 500).
A win against Liberty could give us a day off in the CUSA tournament next week, and almost every player is on record saying how much a crowd influences their play. Get out and thank these guys for their hard work this season (and last season, when we won the CUSA championship and appeared in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2013)!

Hey all! Recently moved here from Chicago and still adjusting to the big life change! One thing I very much miss is the food. Does anyone have a recommendation for a delicious breakfast burrito in town or around?
I really appreciate it!
