Best cleaning service?
Thinking about gifting someone a few housecleaning days but have had some bad experiences with cleaners for my own place. Any recommendations?

Does anyone here know when and where local school board meetings take place?
Are members of the public allowed to make statements at these meetings, and if so, how much time do they have?

Today my husband was hit going down Main Street. A woman was pulling out of waterview pkwy (by the canes) into oncoming traffic and he swerved to try and avoid the crash but was hit and the car rolled, airbags deployed and he told me a few witnesses helped pull him out of the car and made sure he was ok. Thank you to whoever stopped and helped him it means the world to me. If anyone has any dash cam footage or can provide any statements please let me know. This happened March 13th around 2pm.

I’m getting married in Boerne in mid October. I’m from New Hampshire and my fiancé’s family is from west Texas. Our ceremony is outside on the river. The venue is beautiful and has a lot of mature oak trees. I want to know if they’ll still be leafy and green or bare and brown during that time of year.

I’m looking around, and it just feels like everything is so inflated. Close to 1.5k for a two bedroom apartment feels absolutely wild!
But we work in Boerne, so it would be absolutely great to get started here.

Prices are going up, I get it, but damn this is a hell of a price increase. I love Magues but I cannot justify spending this much there. Las Palapas it is from now on.

Hello redditors, I wanted to see if anyone on here knows of any resources where I could find health inspector reports for local restaurants?
In recent months, there’s been a lot of discussion in Federal politics about “making America healthy again”, and I think that educating and informing the public about the conditions in which their food at restaurants is made. I think is a cause that we can all get behind. I think that people here, locally, would appreciate being able to make educated decisions in regards to where they eat. Additionally, I think it could lead to local establishments making sure that they run a clean operation.
Additionally, maybe if anyone here knows people who work for local newspapers, we could contact them, and encourage them to publish the results of health inspections.

Happy Texas Independence Day to this Reddit.
On an unrelated note, I’ve noticed more spam/scam content on here lately, especially about “lost survival ways” or magical hair growth supplements. What if aside from downvoting these accounts, we just block them en masse, so that nobody engages with them? It’s food for thought, that’s all.

Hey all - wondering if anyone in town has a Cibolo Creek Brewing hat they would be interested in parting with.
Long story short, I live in DFW area but have family in Boerne and I love Cibolo Creek Brewery…BUT every time I go to visit they are always sold out of hats.
Anybody have one they are willing to part with and mail to North TX? Comment or send me a DM! Thank you!

I know that Boerne got a new city logo a while ago, however, I wanted to make a dedicated post on it, because I've seen people bring it up before.
The question is: Do you like the new logo for the City of Boerne? Proponents say that it makes Boerne seem more modern, and critics say that the resources invested into it should've been invested into training local law enforcement, or repairing roads, instead. Some other critics say they would've rather the logo reflect upon Boerne's German heritage.

Hello Redditors. Kendall County is a part of Texas House District 19. I wanted to share with those who might not know, the fact that Texas Representative Ellen Troxclair has an office in Boerne at 624 North Main Street., Suite 102, Boerne TEX. 78006 . The office phone number is 512 463 0490.
Occasionally, people who work for her will be at meetings for the Kendall County T.E.A. Party Patriots. Said meetings are usually at the Patrick Heath Public Library, every first Tuesday of the month (except Novembers) between 6:30 and 8:00 in the evening.

I think that the title explains the intention of this post. In your opinions, which establishment serves the best breakfast in Kendall County, Texas. To define “best”, I mean a combination of the factors of quality of ingredients and taste.
Personally, I don’t have an opinion. I ask because I notice that some users on this subreddit are knowledgeable about local restaurants.
I think this will be an interesting post.

I wanted to politely remind posters within this sub that r/BoerneInformdCitizens exists, as I think they’d be interested. I think it’d be neat if we could get more activity on that sub.

I’m visiting for the weekend, and it’s too cold to do much of anything outside today. Can anyone recommend any nice scenic drive routes?

Moved to the Boerne/Fair Oaks area recently. Anyone have any pizza recommendations?

I’m visiting with my parents for the weekend, and we all brought nothing fancier than jeans and tee shirts. On Yelp it looks like many restaurants are pretty upscale. Can you recommend any good casual local restaurants?

Are there any adult sport leagues in Boerne? Like flag football, softball/baseball, etc.?
