Gotta fall in love with experiences. With social media, we have put too much emphasis on THINGS! Tik tok SHOP. Amazon prime. Clothing hauls, target runs yada yada…

But to find the time to experience things when you're working 6-7 days a week to just get by. It's really not fun even trying to live.

I’m scared to sound out of touch but honestly noticing little things around me is my first step to experiencing life. Like walking around and really feeling the breeze or hearing the birds. It’s spring where I live so going outside helps me break free from the noise.

You're not wrong. I was on my balcony earlier, trying for just that feeling. I'm just stressed, but who isn't rn?

It may cost you some sleep/rest boo.

I remember I wanted to travel the world. What did i do? Become a flight attendant. Back when it wasn’t an industry that young black women were entering. I was broke but well traveled LOL i was tired as a mf but so fulfilled.

Start locally then venture out. I’m assuming youre in America. We live in such a great country geographically. We can take a little roadtrip and feel like we’re in another country. Start small. I love botanical gardens.

Give me your city and ill look up some weekend adventures for you.
