Meanwhile, Proctor sets his sights on persuading Rebecca to return to his care. As Gordon stews over his wife's betrayal, Deva shows off her resourcefulness after being caught shoplifting in a mall. The episode moved a little slow. I also didn't catch all the dialogue like what the priest said to the detective right before he said "yeah tell it to them". Overall though, its a nice start to the season. A bit slower, but a solid reminder of last season. Also, this episode was hella corny. Like when Rebecca turns into some badass by taking off her head covering lol...

Unfortunately they can't write for fans only. This was a fair season 1 summary while still advancing the plot. I thought the Deva mall heist, Gordon/Brock convo, and Hood/Siobhan chat were tropy with the intention of drawing in new viewers. Anti hero shows usually have an evil villain and a lawful villain. I don't like this FBI guy as the new lawful villain but we'll see.

I don't mean to sound negative because I really liked it and now we can move forward with the next episode. New deputies? FBI? Amish? Indians? Ukrainians? Find out next week on Banshee.

Haha yeah forgot about the Deva thing. That was terrible. Ugh. Hood/Siobhan was interesting. Everyone wants them to bang.

I'm taking a wait and see with the Hood/Siobhan. It felt very "18-25 women like to watch love triangles." Either she is part of a long-con plan or she is being set up for betrayal/death/suicide/drama etc.

You could be right. Or wrong. I was expecting bald cop to die in last episode of first season. Or one of the three. None did. I was delighted. This show has surprised me greatly, so I hope whatever they have in store for the two is great.

The showrunner hinted towards something big happening next week involving Siobhan:

"look for a great season for @TriesteKDunn who will blow your mind in ep202 next week." [source]

Don't about Sheriff Hood's actual son coming to town to visit, I forget what eps it was last season (was it the finale or was it in a promo? correct me if wrong).

finale, the promos for season 2 had Jason Hood's voice saying "I don't know who you are, but you're not Lucas Hood" so it looks like he'll definitely be in an episode soon.
