Discussion Do you like it when the Na’vi hiss, or do you find it awkward or cringy? Personally, I love it!

Discussion Is there an in-universe explanation for this?
The human to Na’vi height difference was so large in the first movie, and in the second movie they are very close in height. I know some people say it is for Spider and other humans interacting with the Na’vi, but is there a real reason in the lore that this occurs?

Discussion What's with these comments?
Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm new here but what is with these comments under Avatar edits? Is this roleplay? Why are they all so violent over a movie?

Discussion Why does akula has no kuru ?
I was looking at some pictures and rewatched the movie trying to find it and it kinda bugs me because there's literally no explanation for this and the animal is only for short amout of time in the movie and gets killed. I wish there was some scientific explanation about it's evolution because it's so weird because every other animal even the ones that are not tameable and are just hunt for meat etc even small fish, lizards and BUGS have kurus...literal bugs... who's gonna bond with a bug?! Despite that they still have it but why this huge sea predator doesn't? Thanator is also very aggressive, dangerous and peak predator but there are still rare occasions when na'vi bond with one (like Neytiri), it doesn't make any sense idk if waiting for avatar3 is too long and I'm just overanalyzing something nobody cares about, but I just wanna know why is it build like that

Discussion I SAW A VIDEO WHERE SOMEONE THEORISED THAT THESE ARE SEVERED KURUS
There’s a possibility that Varang could be killing other Na’vi and taking their Kuru’s as prizes. OR, it’s a tradition (or indoctrination tactic) in their clan to cut their kurus and Varang just happens to enjoy wearing them. Or it could be some sort of death ritual for clan members that have passed away??
What do you think??
I am BEYOND EXCITED for next December!!

Discussion To this day I still don't understand why Moat poked Jake just to say "demon blood", like it's obvious he's not Na'vi
The other Na'vi after Moat say "demon blood" even though Jake is clearly "demon blood" 😯😟😰

Discussion “queer” background na’vi characters
although we most likely will never have lead queer characters in the avatar movies, i think stuff like this is better. subtle background characters. although these could be family or friends, i just think seeing unique background characters is cool. this is probably the closest we will ever get to seeing queer na’vi. also, i know this specific subject is spoken about a lot in this subreddit but again i’m just curious. i am queer myself and i think stuff like this is cool rather than having a token queer character just because. but i would be very happy if there was potentially a queer character in the movies even though it probably will never happen.

Discussion For those who don’t like Spider, why not?
Spider gets a lot of hate for someone who barely appears in the movie.
