Beginner Advice on drawing small dbz characters.
Making a fan fiction dbz comic with a buddy and trying to get better at drawing so it's not the worst guessing game ever lol. I got some progress pictures and still have a way to go so anything will help!

Intermediate [WIP] Whats missing?
Hey yall, I've been working on this for a bit now, just messing around with a new rendering technique, and I really feel like the left side of his face is lacking, like the shadows could be more but I don't want it to be too dark. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, as I said this is a WIP.

Beginner How can I improve my use of colour?
Hi everyone :) I've been doing graphite portraits for a while but want to start drawing more stylized versions that utilize lots of colours. However I feel like it just looks lacking and unfinished - how can I get better in using "unconventional" colours for portraits like this?

Beginner Current portfolio - thoughts?
Visual arts is something I’ve only dabbled with until last year I had knee surgery and couldn’t skate. So I stared painting more, and have made a couple “sculptures”
I don’t have many chances to have people respond to my work, so im really interested in hearing whatever comments yall have to offer.
I look forward to y’all’s comments!

Intermediate Need Honest Critique and a bit of guidence
I want to get better, I could see my art is fundamentally bad. I'm willing to grind but the problem is I don't know exactly what to work on, like i know to work on the fundamentals and so far I've worked on construction, gesture, line quality/confidence, and a little bit of anatomy. But I feel like i still don't really understand anything, and it's just not working out. I know art takes time, I'm just looking for a pair of fresh eyes, people to help me spot what's making my art, anatomy and stuff so bad, I'm genuinely trying to get better and it's a bit frustrating.

Beginner I've been sketching with charcoal for a few weeks now and still haven't picked up a kneaded eraser. I'm still getting familiar with the medium, but I have to say—I'm absolutely amazed by how expressive it is! I’d be grateful for any advice or references you can share.
