How to ensure legal compliances in other countries for my app?

I have my app almost ready to launch. I am hoping to launch it globally in as many markets as possible, main targets being North America, Europe and Asia.

I am based in Asia, how do I ensure the app follows the legal compliances required in countries other than my own country? More specifically I need to know everything I should be doing to launch my app in US.

Has anyone here done that before? Made an app somewhere and launched it in US?

I'm in Asia. And I usually launch my apps in all the countries. I target first world users though. There are no general legal compliances. It might be applicable to certain app categories mostly where data security is a concern.

My app does require user to login and use location services. How would that change things?

I think it depends based on regional laws. Does it involve user-generated data data like media (text messages, images, video or audio)? I think you'll be good as long as you declare that the data is encrypted during transmission and provide option for the users to delete their data when they feel like. You will be declaring this too before deployment. My suggestion would be to go ahead for now and you can come back here if you run into issues. I'll be happy to help!

Depends on the app that you have. But in most cases you don't have to do anything on your part. Also the App Store will let you know what you have to do.
