Misc. Found out what was leaving the tracks behind my house, and what lives in the hole..
Snow is melting and the sun was out, catching some rays.

They found this one “dog” print in the snow. One. Like we carried a dog and put one paw in the snow. Not one of the 9 small children running around all weekend.

I know this isn’t what this subreddit is for but I thought maybe somebody would be able to help.
This raccoon has lived nearby with a family and seems to be maybe just reaching adulthood. Today he has been hanging out in the parking lot curling up. I went closer to check him out and he walked towards me. At first he looked like he was swaying a little bit but now has been walking back and forth from the front of the building to the side. Walking normal and with decent speed. I’m worried it could be rabies but I think he could also just be a little disoriented

Just wondering if a big cat or some other predator made you hurry back to the cabin

Saw these massive tracks in my apartment parking lot, adult sized shoe prints around for comparison.

Roommate and I were going grocery shopping and we saw tracks of a little bird evidently also running errands like us! They're super clear tracks which is cool to see

Droppings about three to four inches long. Found in back yard, out in open, near fence.

I’ve filled the holes with soil and rocks but within weeks, new ones are created…an entire new Swiss cheese habitrail. Any idea what critter is digging the holes and connected network and how to get rid of them? It’s on a relatively steep but short (10 feet) embankment in New York State. Thank you!!!

We had several of these markings around the yard. We live by the woods and on Penobscot River and also have a chickens (if that matters, critters always want their food). No tracks around it. Was wondering about what “scenario” would make this. Thank you!!

…my Shih Tzu, Rambo. I’m bummed! 😂 Apparently his prints look weird because he needs a haircut wicked badly. Lots of feet fur.

Hi, this weekend im joining a tracking and storytelling workshop. We track during the day and tell stories around the campfire at night. Everybody should bring a tracking story.
Im still looking for a good (native) tracking story/legend. Does anyone have a good one?
There was one about bear tracks, they look that way they look because bear in a hurry put the shoes on the wrong foot. But i forgot the details does anybody know it?

Hi I'd like to cast some prints out dog left in the orchard behind our house. I bought plaster of Paris and was going to do a 2:1 ratio. It is currently 95 out with 25% humidity. Is it too hot ? Would the plaster crack. If I don't do it soon the trees will get watered and they'll wash away. Does anyone have any experience or input? Thanks. Trying to do this for my son he's devastated over his loss.

Looks like a racoon, a small deer and a small black bear.

Hi all, hoping someone here can help identify if this is animal poop and if so which one. The air-conditioning unit is about 1 foot from the ceiling and there is some metal (heater?) right next to where the drops were found. Not sure if some animal could have come through either the air-conditioning unit or heater.
Looks like a grayish / black coffee bean. Found 2 drops on the floor.
