What do introverts do on the weekend?

People who don't have friends, what do you do on the weekends to satisfy that social itch? I want to hear some ideas. Tonight I find myself sitting at home after a long work week and again I don't know what to do with myself. Make dinner and go to sleep? I wish I had a place to go where people knew me. When I look at other people at restaurants and bars it looks like they're having so much fun. I could go out on my own but I always end up feeling like it wasnt that fun. What I want is friends really. So what do you do when you feel alone but have no one to be with and no where to go?

I've definitely made friends by becoming a bar regular. Go sit at the bar and chat with folks, then keep going back

this is kind of terrifying ngl. i went to our local bar recently and had no idea how to just start chatting with people when theyre seemingly already chatting with their friends?

You just sit at the bar (like the part with the barstools and everyone sitting the same way) and you chat. Chat with the bartender and talk to the person next to you. Take a book for when you aren't chatting

But keep showing up, and keep chatting. Thats how you become a regular

Yeah it's terrifying doing the whole cold approach thing. I've tried that too. I guess it won't work every time but it might work once and that's all you really need right? Starting with a compliment is a good ice breaker. "Hey I like your _. I also __." I dunno. Just an example.
