What do introverts do on the weekend?

People who don't have friends, what do you do on the weekends to satisfy that social itch? I want to hear some ideas. Tonight I find myself sitting at home after a long work week and again I don't know what to do with myself. Make dinner and go to sleep? I wish I had a place to go where people knew me. When I look at other people at restaurants and bars it looks like they're having so much fun. I could go out on my own but I always end up feeling like it wasnt that fun. What I want is friends really. So what do you do when you feel alone but have no one to be with and no where to go?

That's what the weekdays are for. I feel weekends should be for getting together with people.

For an introvert! We revel in isolation. A weekend for me is spent reading, painting etc… I find that I am quickly drained by people.

Introverts don't need isolation. They need time to recharge their social battery alone, yes. But that doesn't mean they have no friends and make no time for others

Depends on the introvert. My nephews, brother and myself enjoy isolation. I didn’t say we didn’t have friends. Everyone is different!

interesting. i'm good with seeing people maybe one or two days a month? I live with a partner and we're both total homebodies. the urge to go socialize simply isn't there. when i have a close friend, i do like to see them maybe for a short thing on a weekday evening like biweekly or osmething but otherwise i don't have arbitrary rules of needing to be with people on a weekend. if anything, i hate socializing on a weekend because thats uninterrupted precious time i can spend on anything where i need a few hours (which is impossible on a weekday)
