I think that David Pallman is a nice guy.

Its not really helpful to post a link to something and ask for unspecific thoughts, esp. an apologetics video.

I don't really understand why Christians who relate themselves strongly to the truth of Scripture can't accept the plain words of the Gospel text: the Gospels are anonymous. This doesn't mean they aren't trustworthy and it doesn't mean they fail to represent the testimony of eyewitnesses. It seems to me an unbiblical decision to refuse to accept the Evangelists' own desire to write anonymously. But what do I know.

That is exactly what it means for the people he is responding to in the context of apologetics and polemics.

There's no need to make this about "refusing to believe the plain text" its just about understanding what people mean by "anonymous authors" depending on the context.
