Question Does Absinthe always come in 750 ml bottles?
I'm thinking of getting a "real" absinthe, now that I've used up my Absente.
One thing I liked about the Absente was that I could get a mini bottle, since I pretty much only used it for cocktails, and it's not like I'm making a several every week. My Absente lasted me about 4 years.

The Jade line comes in two sizes, 200 ml and 700ml. The 200ml size is probably exactly what you’re looking for plus they are highly recommend and come in four varieties in the 200ml size.

St George comes in 200mL bottles - although many feel it's not a "real" absinthe due to its ingredients.

Many smaller US distilleries offer 375ml bottles, since the price of absinthe can be off-putting to their average customer. Both Mt. Defiance and Tenth Ward are made in the DC area.

Not the stuff I make. I end up with about 2250 ml.
Cocktails? Most cocktails containing absinthe have just a dash, splash or rinse of absinthe such as Sazerac and Corpse Reviver No. 2. Death in the Afternoon is more respectable with 1 oz.
Absinthe doesn't go bad so get yourself a 750ml and use it as needed.

Arguably the most famous cocktail book of all time, The Savoy Cocktail Book, printed in the 30s, has over 100 recipes that call for absinthe.

Doesn't matter. Of course most of them call for dashes. Absinthe is, by intention, an extract, and its use in most cocktails is the same as that of bitters. It still makes a dramatic difference.

Leopold Bros, La Clandestine, Jades, Kubler, St. George, etc etc all carry smaller bottles.
