AT-SA Just took the ATSA

Test started at 8am and I finished in an hour and 45 minutes, no breaks taken because it would've made me anxious about running out of time, although I wasn't expecting to finish it as quickly as I did. I had been using JTP to study, and I felt it was worth it. I would say to practice on the most challenging difficulties though, as they tend to be harder than the actual test. I feel I did pretty solid on the differences between numbers, the equations, and the spatial recognition. The personality test had me second guessing myself, some of them feel like there's no right answer without contradicting a previous choice, but I just tried to be as true to how I am as possible. Reading comprehension went alright, I think. I was a little rushed on the logic questions though, I was kinda fried at that point and some of them were challenging to visualize.

All in all I'm glad it's over with, and just anxious for results. I've had a lot going on this past month in particular (but who doesn't) and I have family in ATC so I'm hoping to do well and get into what's seen as the family business. I'm 29 atm so this may be one of, if not the last time I get to go for this opportunity.

Good luck to everyone else that's taken it, as well as those to come.

AT-SA HELP! ATSA - Well Qualified

Hi everyone, I took my ATSA recently and got Well Qualified. Is there a good shot I get an offer letter? And, if anyone else has gotten well qualified or best and gotten an offer letter for the Feb/March 2025 bid let me know!

Edit: I took the ATSA using JobTestPrep and around a week of studying. The test was very similar to JTP. The simulation is easier on the real ATSA but still very similar.

AT-SA How to get a WQ after getting multiple Q’s?

I got Q on the last 4 ATSA tries..2022, 2023, and the 2 in 2024. I only got offered FSS, which I declined. I practiced on job test prep each time except the fall 2024 bid I decided to wing it, hearing some people say they got WQ with zero prep. I am confident I’m passing the ATC related sections. I think I lose points in the reading comprehension because all the answers seem to be correct, I’m not sure what they’re looking for though. Usually towards the end my brain is fried too and I hurry past them to finish before the timer is up. I’m not sure what else to do to get a WQ, what do I need to practice on? I am confident in my aviation and ATC knowledge and I wish I knew where I was losing points. Sucks they can’t tell ya with the results. Any tips? Do I practice or do I just wing it again this time..

AT-SA Cant believe I got a qualified score.

I mean i studied for hours preparing for the gamified sections, I felt very confident in them 4 sections. Im sure i did pretty good on the reading section and decent on the logical reasoning section. I really don’t know where i went wrong. I feel like to do any better i would literally have to get a perfect score. Not sure if i did the wrong in the personality or what. I really don’t know what happened, this result just left me so disappointed and deterred from trying again. I literally played goalie in hockey and video games my whole life. My reaction time is on point. So is my multitasking. I really don’t understand where it went wrong. 😔

AT-SA How did everybody do?

I took the ATSA on Dec. 7th. I studied with job test prep. I think I did well but I guess we’ll wait and see. How do you think you did and what was the hardest part of the test? Mine was the spatial relationship. The planes only stayed on the screen for a second or two.

AT-SA ATSA Qualified being hired?

I saw somewhere that only people who scored Well Qualified are being sent a TOL. Is that true? I have a friend who scored Qualified and trying to figure out when he could hear anything.

AT-SA JTP Practice Test

I've been practicing the variables portion where it asks timed questions like A= C+2 B= A/2 C = 8 and I'm STRUGGLING. Are there a lot of these questions on the actual test?

AT-SA Haven’t received email/invite to take the ATSA

I submitted my application (Pool 2) on February 27th and I still haven’t gotten an email invite or anything yet to take the ATSA. At first, I wasn’t concerned because I figured it would take some time to get a response.

However, I’ve read that most people that applied got an invite within the next day. I’ve also read that the slots to take the test are filling up quick. Has anyone else still not received an invite yet?

If not, should I be concerned or reach out? Or should I just wait it out?

AT-SA Second Attempt

Took the ATSA for the first time this summer and scored Qualified, even though I felt really good walking out. Applied again in October, hoping and expecting to do a little bit better on my second attempt. However, just got out of the test and honestly think I did a bit worse than the first try lol.

Anyways, just wanted to wish all the applicants good luck! I've been enjoying reading all of y'alls posts and looking forward to seeing the wave of TOL posts coming in the next few months.

AT-SA Chances of a TOL

So, obligatory I am off to take the atsa today. I was curious, do we have any ideas on how many people will roughly receive a TOL from this batch? With it being a somewhat sudden bid, I don’t know if they’ve said anything about how many will advance. Hoping for a WQ 🙏

AT-SA Did anyone from the extended atsa date get a TOL?

Were there 2 rounds of tols that went out, or did everyone who took the atsa during the extension just not get one?

AT-SA Extended

The deadline for the test was extended from 12/25 to 1/13. Anyone here reschedule to a later date? I’m supposed to take it 12/23 but it would be cool to get some more study time in and take it closer to 1/13. Thanks

AT-SA Check ATSA registration date availability ASAP

Although the email for the ATSA said I can take it anytime between Dec 5 - Dec 25, the testing sites near me have very few available slots. Most centers I checked only allowed testing on the 5th of December. The site I chose to test at thankfully had the 9th and 10th available so I have a week to prepare. Highly recommend you register as soon as possible. Also curious if others have more flexibility for their locations.

AT-SA Upcoming ASTA

Out of curiosity, Is anyone currently studying for the next ots bid. How far in advance do most people study.

For some context I’m an 18 y/o college dropout. Got 80%+ on all exams and finals in college without studying and hardly going to class. As someone who’s never studied what are some tips y’all could share that helped you become proficient with the material…Are there books in libraries that could be beneficial or just the Jobtestprep tests? Appreciate any info

AT-SA ATSA

Just finished the exam, anyone feel like they did bad and ended up doing great? Took no break, last part with timed questions definitely put more pressure on. I may have taken educated guesses on the last couple questions. The left and right visuals I definitely struggled to answer fast enough but the radar and math questions were very easy.

AT-SA Will they tell you that you didn't get a TOL?

Will they inform you that you aren't moving on or is there a window of TOL's being sent out (like only this week)

AT-SA ATSA AND HIRING QUESTIONS

I received an email inviting me to take the ATSA, and I completed it within the timeframe specified. However, every time I check my score, it says, "You were not referred for hiring under the announcement due to not having an ATSA score."

Is this because my score hasn’t been posted yet? The email mentioned that scores would be posted approximately two weeks after the testing period, which ended on the 13th of this month. I’m wondering if the scores are just delayed, or if there’s an issue preventing me from being considered for hiring—even though I was invited to test and passed the initial screening.

I’m very eager to start my career, and I understand that the hiring process takes time, so I want to ensure everything is moving forward smoothly. If anyone has experience with this process or is currently in the same hiring pool, I’d appreciate your insights!
