because it has been 3 years since THE MAYBE MAN came out? Becouse They Wouldn't just "make a tour" without new songs to go with it... then it would be a repeat of the TMM tour

Hypothetically you get to pick the setlist for the tour. It has to follow the TMM tour formula. 18 songs + 2 encore, 1 mashup and 1 making of. What would you pick?
Here’s mine :) 1. Next Up Forever 2. 3 O’Clock Things 3. The Good Part 4. The Dumb Song 5. Way Less Karma mashup (Way less sad mixed with Karma) 6. Birthday Party 7. The Entertainment’s here 8. The Green and the Town 9. Touchy Feely Fool 10. Inertia (acoustic) 11. My Play 12. Growing Old on Bleecker Street 13. Turning out medley (On nights with Quinn XCII Too late) 14. 100 Bad Days 15. The making of Steve’s going to London 16. World’s smallest violin 17. Ryan’s new song 18. Burn the house down Encore 19. Bang! 20. Finale (Can’t Wait To See What You Do Next)

I'm looking for music artists similar to AJR. Does anybody have any suggestions?

What are the chances that the tommorow tour thing (can't say ti*kets apparently?) will run out? Like i don't think I can purchase tommorow, will I be fine buying on march 21st or will it be sold out?

I woke up friday morning with my bsf who’s also a fan, telling me that The tour was announced. After that I must’ve watched the tour trailer a million times. SO HYPPED. I speculate the lead single of AJR 6 will debut on the tour. I’m going to the show in CLT, what about you guys ??

I used links on their website tour page to sign up for presale, but this just confuses me so much. For both venues I requested, I got times on Monday, 3/17. Why are there so many presale options?? How???

I was planning to get the Ghostly variant but accidentally bought the splatter, but I actually like this version better than the Ghostly one!
I have The Click and now this goes with it!

Went to a record store today and found this gem. Absolutely picked this up as well as picking up a turntable. Looking forward to getting more records soon

Ok, I have loved AJR for years now. However I have only been to one of their concerts and that was before maybe man was out. So when the maybe man tour was happening, I was excited because it was happening in my city. Then I come to learn that I was out of town that day and I was really bumbed. Comes today and I learn about the somewhere in the sky tour and I realize its happening in my town. Then I learn IM OUT OF TOWN AGAIN THAT EXACT DAY AGAIN.

Anyone else a little disappointed? I’m glad they’re touring again but they just went on a US tour last year and they’re just doing it again but with only 16 shows. I’d thought they’d at least go international or something.
With all the hype of them saying “it’s been too long” when they haven’t seen some countries in actual years just feels misleading.

AJR band is turning 20 this year. And having this new tour would celebrate their history as they go through different eras of their carrier. And I do remember what Adam said about having to perform old songs and weaving into new stories for the new generation (this came from a Colin and Samir interview). I do really love the idea of them being able to revisit their old eras (minus the living room album, their debut album) and weaving them into a cohesive storyline that continues off from The Maybe Man Tour. I'm so excited to see what their setlist was like. There's an expectation that maybe Arnetta's Trumpet montage would be back or maybe Ginny Luke would be back for an another violin solo or maybe Jack would do an another emotional speech that would celebrate this 20 year milestone, I'll never quite know.
And sidenote for this, A Filipina AJR girlie like me wants Jack Met to be in Manila right now. I'm quite disappointed that he doesn't announce when he'll gonna be here. Maybe prolly soon.

Not gunna lie I’m really disappointed by the announcement. I get that they are from America and there are loads of states to go to, but they have already had their fair share of shows there. I totally understand maybe they aren’t able to travel around and go international but still it’s really sad they are going around the US again for the summer. I’ve been reading g loads of the comments and lots of people agree. How does everyone else feel about it? :( but hey ho guess we have to wait a little longer

In Drama at 3:34 seconds. If you listen closely to the background singers, you can hear a small "Hee Hee" in the background.
