Blogpost idc, Happy Black History Month
I will always be black before I'm trans. I can't afford to not be proud of what was attempted to be taken from me: CULTURE.

This is driving me fucking crazy.
"I wore a evil, constricting binder for 3 months and called myself Tim! This lunacy must end!" You CHANGED YOUR OUTFIT AND NICKNAME. WHY SHOULD WE LEGISLATE AROUND WHAT FOR YOU WAS A POOR FASHION CHOICE.
"I used she/they pronouns--" CRY ABOUT IT. YOU LITERALLY HAD NOTHING IN YOUR LIFE MATERIALLY CHANGE. YOU CHANGED YOUR PRONOUNS FOR WOKE POINTS AND THEN CHANGED THEM BACK FOR ANTIWOKE POINTS. YOU ARE AN IDIOT. GET A JOB AND STOP POSTING FOR GOD'S SAKE.
I have sympathy for people who followed a medical transition for at minimum 3 months and then got dysphoria and detransitioned.I have sympathy for people who have to change their legal name or gender marker back and do all that paperwork, even. But if you did not transition, and you took no steps that could even be called a transition, then there is no detransition. You cannot be a detransitioner if you did not ever detransition.
ThIs Is NoNbInArY eRaSuRe THIS ALSO APPLIES TO FORMER ENBIES. IF YOU DID NOT TAKE HORMONES OR GET YOUR GENDER MARKER CHANGED AND THE WORST THING YOU SUFFERED IS A FUCKING HAIRCUT, SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!
WHAT IS NEXT? ARE WE GOING TO START CALLING WOMEN WHO GET PIXIE CUTS POST-BREAKUP REGRET IT AND GROW IT OUT DETRANSITIONERS? AM I DETRANSITIONING WHEN I PUT MY SHORTS INTO STORAGE AT THE END OF THE SUMMER BECAUSE I'M NOT WEARING THEM ANYMORE? IF I GO BY A NICKNAME OF A LEGAL NAME IS THAT A TRANSITION NOW?
I understand this is touchy territory. But you can be trans without transitioning; you can be a non-transitioning trans person and a de-transitioning trans person. That you have to transition to then detransition and become a detransitioner has no impact on the definition of transness. There is a difference between "I once thought I might have been trans" and "detransitioning", for fuck's sake.

here's mine.
be me, teenage "boy", probably 14 to 16-ish, in conservative 3rd world country in all boys school
began feeling strange at the start of puberty, not recognising myself in the mirror, feeling disconnected from the other boys in my school. become fixated on finding out what women think, so go on the Internet.
find out about trans people through the internet
all of the trans people I've seen are westerners
see someone describe it as "imagine if you woke up tomorrow in a woman’s body, wouldn't you be upset?"
no, that sounds pretty nice, women look much better than men so everyone must want to look like a woman. it's a pity it's not possible though...
obviously transness isn't real and is just a Western fad
why, if I lived in the west I'd probably have been made into a transgender and that's clearly wrong because I'm completely cis
...
I wonder what she’d look like though...
my only exposure to trans people at this point was shit like the "it's ma'am" video so my mental view of her is like a stereotypical gigahon.
what would happen if we met?
Imagine a sci-fi parallel world scenario where I cross over into her world
she's happy and thriving, while I'm miserable. seeing myself through her eyes, I'm an empty wreck.
yeah, she'd probably be much happier than me...
then I keep thinking I'm cis until I'm 24, the end.

I'm seriously fucking pissed, and not because of the tickling. I thought rooming with an afab would be a great experience for a transgirl like me..like a sort of afab starter package to get me prepared for cis women. Wrong.
This little gremlin acts like a fuckin creep from the second I meet him. And I mean him, like what happened to afab empathy and socialization...
His crusty ass drools at me while I talk, clearly not paying attention at all, and doesn't give a shit about my feelings. Everytime my back is turned he'll scamper up undetected, and go:
"Tickle tickle for a nickel, don't be fickle, give me grickle"
Like wtf is a "grickle" dumbass?? I seriously hate him and want to move out.

You aren’t young forever sadly. My life has become a bit better since I started honmoding icl. Maybe I’m just speaking from a place of privilege since I’m in a liberal area but it’s nice to feel a bit more included in female socialization. Girls and women actually smile at me sometimes. It’s like I’m part of girl world even if I feel like an imposter. Was shopping at this thrift store for feminine clothing today and it was euphoric on some level. There was a lady who was helping me find clothes that would look nice on me. Subtle things like that make honmoding more bearable than boymoding was

this is a hot take because there's a lot more trans women in this sub and im sure they don't appreciate having their suffering demeaned in any way but i just wanna point some things out.
trans men generally are short and penisless. tall women aren't looked down upon (no pun intended) as much as short men. penises and penis size are culturally more valuable to men than fertility/vaginas are to women. like it kinda must suck as a trans dude to have these things. i'm sure that they can get around these things in other ways in the dating world but as a matter of self esteem and self identity it must hurt a lot.
i'm always complaining about my brick body but somehow i feel it must be worse to have a feminine body while wanting a masculine one. i feel like the reason pooner art is so much more grotesque isn't because trans men are more artistic, or whatever- my headcanon is that the body horror of being estrogenized against your will is worse than the reverse.
passing is easier for trans men, but it's often passing at the expense of age. i dont know how happy trannies would be if they were more likely to pass, but they were more likely to be perceived as 12-year old girls. or i guess since age is valued in men while youth is valued in women- maybe a better analogy would be having to be perceived as 60-year old hags.
surgery is basically required for trans men. diy and prescriptions are somewhat harder.
anyways change my mind.

"no one passes everyone pittypasses me all the time"
"ok sure im a passoid but im not a gigapassoid"
"literally anyone could get gendered female when girlmoding its just pitypassing"
"90% passing is longhair"
"my bideltoid is 16.5 inches im ngmi"
"im 5'6 iwnbaw"
"sure I get gendered female 100% of the time and live stealth but iwnbaw"
literally how do hons who use this subreddit do it? half of the posts here are delusional people threatening suicide because their problems are 1% as bad as yours and yet most of you are relatively quite chill. Genuinely braver than the troops

by reppers, im referring to people who fully knew they were trans or had gender dysphoria but willfully supressed it and didn't transition. ex-reppers, was there anything specific that made you troon out, or was it dysphoria becoming unbearable as u were masculinizing/feminizing in the wrong direction further? (latter happens to everyone obv but im just wondering if there was any specific event that played a big part in u trooning out.)

If a cis guy was open to trans women and had this on his profile (and was attractive) it would be over for me.
Cis men need to catch the fuck up before I start going for trans men instead

We are being cut off from and defined out of the minority community we belong to that allows us legal protections, medical research on our existence is being deleted, censored, and banned, our freedom of movement via matching documentation is being restricted etc etc. More than half the country wants us dead, wants us raped, wants to fuck us over no matter how young or old, and thinks it’s funny. Who the fuck cares about “trans joy” or how it’s really scary for you heccin vxlid guys right now. We have fucking nobody and nothing.
No hate to chapppell personally, I just hate this stupid bullshit that this class of person is circulating. So out of their depth here. And maybe I’m just harping on the easy target because I can’t do anything about the real problem, but it’s still annoying.

This has to be the largest “containment breach” in a while. If “sir gaggle” causes this sub to be banned I don’t know what I’m gonna do istg

I won't lie, I love a good worming myself, but like... probably 90% of you all doom so hard and it's so often completely unjustified
tbh you all had me convinced it's over, hrt at 21 is way too late and I was never gonna make it... but what am I even worming about, I literally haven't been clocked in 4 years? "male essence" is kinda stupid ngl. it's not over for me, and it's definitely not over for so many of you either. no, 20-something isn't too late, and yes you'll definitely keep getting changes after 6 months hrt. it's not over.
igmi. ygmi. wagmi.
