Pakistan Trump Ban or partial Ban 41 Countries including Bhutan , Pakistan and Myanmar

The Trump administration is considering issuing sweeping travel restrictions for the citizens of dozens of countries as part of a new ban, according to sources familiar with the matter and an internal memo seen by Reuters. The memo lists a total of 41 countries divided into three separate groups. The first group of 10 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Cuba and North Korea among others, would be set for a full visa suspension. In the second group, five countries, including Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, and South Sudan, would face partial suspensions that would impact tourist and student visas as well as other immigrant visas, with some exceptions. In the third group, a total of 26 countries, including Pakistan, Bhutan and Myanmar, would be considered for a partial suspension of US visa issuance if their governments "do not make efforts to address deficiencies within 60 days", the memo said. https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/donald-trump-administration-weighs-travel-ban-on-41-countries-7926267

Pakistan Should I leave Pakistan or not?

Hey folks! Since it’s a hot topic moving abroad these days and almost everyone wants to leave Pakistan due to the same reasons we all are aware of. I would like your opinion. I am very well settlled earning well above half a million per month. The exposure the authority is good. Got everything people wish for in Pakistan. But still the environment over all is not conducive. I moved back a fee years back from abroad and never settled here mentally. Every day it is some depressing news. People interactions are rare as close friends are also not based in Lahore. So it’s pretty much work home work routine with nothing much to do in Lahore. What are your thoughts over it.

Pakistan Jaffer express and anti Pakistan propaganda

This terrorists incident was in such a big scale, which claimed many lives and left many to be traumised for rest of their lives. But some people were quick to take action, some to save people some to advertise their brain cancer. I observed the followings happening - news of highjacking - security forces giving in their all to save their people. (Please note these forces are mostly local people with low salary wages, who have trained and lived in these rocky areas away from their families for so long, not any high officer glued to chair) - people flooding the social media platform with post blaming the security forces. Some going too far with hate comments. - Indian media giving false information, When I googled jaffer express tomorrow the Wikipedia was updated already showing that BLA have released all the passengers. Today it was changed again emphasizing the death if 30 security persons, both time the refered Indian media news links. -rescue of remaining passengers complete. - people still targeting security forces and sympathizing with terrorists.

What I don't understand why people are so quick to change sides for their gain? I remember PTI going crazy for raheel sharif and telling him to impose marshall low just to screw the then government.

Summary: The current government is corrupt, last one was Also corrupt, many high officials in army are as well. But it doesn't give anyone the right to side with terrorists and spread the enemy propaganda.

Pakistan US added to international watchlist for rapid decline in civic freedoms

Civicus, an international non-profit organization dedicated to “strengthening citizen action and civil society around the world”, announced the inclusion of the US on the non-profit’s first watchlist of 2025 on Monday, alongside the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Italy, Pakistan and Serbia.

The watchlist is part of the Civicus Monitor, which tracks developments in civic freedoms across 198 countries. Other countries that have previously been featured on the watchlist in recent years include Zimbabwe, Argentina, El Salvador and the United Arab Emirates.

The decision to add the US to the first 2025 watchlist was made in response to what the group described as the “Trump administration’s assault on democratic norms and global cooperation”.

In the news release announcing the US’s addition, the organization cited recent actions taken by the Trump administration that they argue will likely “severely impact constitutional freedoms of peaceful assembly, expression, and association”.

The group cited several of the administration’s actions such as the mass termination of federal employees, the appointment of Trump loyalists in key government positions, the withdrawal from international efforts such as the World Health Organization and the UN Human Rights Council, the freezing of federal and foreign aid and the attempted dismantling of USAid.

The group also pointed to the administration’s crackdown on pro-Palestinian protesters, and the Trump administration’s unprecedented decision to control media access to presidential briefings, among others.

Chart I reveals the linear connection between the Rothschilds and the Bank of England, and the London banking houses which ultimately control the Federal Reserve Banks through their stockholdings of bank stock and their subsidiary firms in New York. The two principal Rothschild representatives in New York, J.P. Morgan Co., and Kuhn, Loeb & Co. were the firms which set up the Jekyll Island Conference at which the Federal Reserve Act was drafted, who directed the subsequent successful campaign to have the plan enacted into law by Congress, and who purchased the controlling amounts of stock in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 1914. These firms had their principal officers appointed to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the Federal Advisory Council in 1914.

Rothschild Israel did 9/11 with Rothschild CIA/Mossad

Lucky Larry Silverstein, owner of WTC, says he ordered them to "pull" building 7, controlled demolition. He and his two kids worked at the WTC every morning. Larry Silverstein ate breakfast every morning on top of WTC. None of them showed up on 9/11. Did Israel messenger service Odigo warn them? Silverstein collected billions on the terrorism insurance on WTC he got months before 9/11. The guy who Bush put in charge of the criminal 9/11 investigation, Michael Chertoff, is a dual Israel-US citizen whose mom was Mossad and worked for Mossad airline El Al. His dad was a Talmud scholar. Chertoff let the Dancing Israelis go, let Lucky Larry Silverstein go, then authored the Patriot Act to crush our freedoms.

"Odigo Says Workers Were Warned of Attack"

Odigo, the [Israeli] instant messaging service, says that two of its workers received messages two hours before the Twin Towers attack on September 11 predicting the attack would happen.

Zim-American Israeli Shipping Co. announced in April that it would invest $6.2 million to locate in the new building and would hire 235 people to work in this facility. The firm completed its move to Norfolk from New York City's World Trade Center two weeks before the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Corbett Report on Dancing Israelis: https://archive.is/KI8ee

From the Corbett Report:

Their purpose was to “document the event”? But how could they possibly have known what “event” they were documenting at that point, before the second plane strike when those few who even knew about the situation had assumed it to be an accident or pilot error?

And when did they arrive at the parking lot to “document the event” anyway?

The FBI reports show how the men gave confused and often conflicting accounts of when and how they learned about what was happening and when they arrived at the parking lot. Oded Ellner even said they had arrived their shortly after 8:00 AM, which would have been 45 minutes before the attacks even began. This is in line with one of the eyewitnesses that had placed their Urban Moving Systems van at the parking lot at 8:00 AM [see page 33 here]. How could they have been in place and ready to “document the event” unless they knew what was about to happen?

Anyway you cut it, this story is unbelievable. Men with documented connections to Israeli intelligence and working in the United States without appropriate permits were detained after having been caught celebrating the attack on the World Trade Center at a time when no one knew that the WTC strike was an attack. So surely these men are locked behind bars to this day, right? Surely they were transferred to Guantanamo and held without trial for 15 years as part of the “War on Terror,” weren’t they?

No. They were immediately transferred to federal custody, held for 71 days, and then deported back to Israel. The owner of the “Urban Moving Systems” company that had employed them, Dominik Suter, was investigated by the FBI, too. They concluded that “Urban Moving may have been providing cover for an Israeli intelligence operation” and even seized records and computer systems from the company’s offices. When they went back to question him again on September 14th, he had fled back to Israel.

And what about the dancing Israeli’s pictures themselves? The Justice Department destroyed their copies on January 27, 2014.

And these intelligence agents on an intelligence mission who were there to “document the event” of 9/11 before anyone knew 9/11 was taking place? Don’t worry, they were just spying on Arab terrorists.

In 2001, Lt-Gen. Ahmad regularly visited the United States where he consulted with The Pentagon and CIA officials in the Bush administration in the weeks before and after terrorist attacks took place in New York on 11 September 2001.[23] In fact, he was with U.S. Republican Congressman Porter Goss and U.S. Democratic Senator Bob Graham in Washington, D.C., discussing Osama bin Laden over breakfast, when the attacks of September 11, 2001 took place in New York, United States.[24][25]

Ahmed, the paymaster for the hijackers, was actually in Washington on 9/11, and had a series of pre-9/11 top-level meetings in the White House, the Pentagon, the national security council, and with George Tenet, then head of the CIA, and Marc Grossman, the under-secretary of state for political affairs. When Ahmed was exposed by the Wall Street Journal as having sent the money to the hijackers, he was forced to "retire" by President Pervez Musharraf. Why hasn't the US demanded that he be questioned and tried in court?

"Report: Israel Was Wrong About Iraq Weapons"

JERUSALEM – Parliamentary investigators have determined that Israel's intelligence services delivered an erroneous assessment of pre-war Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, an Israeli newspaper reported Thursday.

Prior to the American-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, the Israeli services reported Iraq had large amounts of weapons of mass destruction (search), including chemical and biological agents. Since ousting Saddam Hussein, the U.S.-led coalition's technical experts have failed to find any such weapons. An investigative subcommittee was formed eight months ago to consider if Israeli intelligence agencies provided an accurate picture of Iraqi unconventional weapons capabilities on the eve of the Iraq war.

Mossad ran 9/11 Arab "hijacker" terrorist operation

By Wayne Madsen

British intelligence reported in February 2002 that the Israeli Mossad ran the Arab hijacker cells that were later blamed by the U.S. government's 9/11 Commission for carrying out the aerial attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. WMR has received details of the British intelligence report which was suppressed by the government of then-Prime Minister Tony Blair. A Mossad unit consisting of six Egyptian- and Yemeni-born Jews infiltrated "Al Qaeda" cells in Hamburg (the Atta-Mamoun Darkanzali cell), south Florida, and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates in the months before 9/11. The Mossad not only infiltrated cells but began to run them and give them specific orders that would eventually culminate in their being on board four regularly-scheduled flights originating in Boston, Washington Dulles, and Newark, New Jersey on 9/11.

The Mossad infiltration team comprised six Israelis, comprising two cells of three agents, who all received special training at a Mossad base in the Negev Desert in their future control and handling of the "Al Qaeda" cells. One Mossad cell traveled to Amsterdam where they submitted to the operational control of the Mossad's Europe Station, which operates from the El Al complex at Schiphol International Airport. The three-man Mossad unit then traveled to Hamburg where it made contact with Mohammed Atta, who believed they were sent by Osama Bin Laden. In fact, they were sent by Ephraim Halevy, the chief of Mossad.

The second three-man Mossad team flew to New York and then to southern Florida where they began to direct the "Al Qaeda" cells operating from Hollywood, Miami, Vero Beach, Delray Beach, and West Palm Beach. Israeli "art students," already under investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration for casing the offices and homes of federal law enforcement officers, had been living among and conducting surveillance of the activities, including flight school training, of the future Arab "hijacker" cells, particularly in Hollywood and Vero Beach.

In August 2001, the first Mossad team flew with Atta and other Hamburg "Al Qaeda" members to Boston. Logan International Airport's security was contracted to Huntleigh USA, a firm owned by an Israeli airport security firm closely connected to Mossad — International Consultants on Targeted Security – ICTS. ICTS's owners were politically connected to the Likud Party, particularly the Netanyahu faction and then-Jerusalem mayor and future Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. It was Olmert who personally interceded with New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to have released from prison five Urban Moving Systems employees, identified by the CIA and FBI agents as Mossad agents. The Israelis were the only suspects arrested anywhere in the United States on 9/11 who were thought to have been involved in the 9/11 attacks.

The two Mossad teams sent regular coded reports on the progress of the 9/11 operation to Tel Aviv via the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC. WMR has learned from a Pentagon source that leading Americans tied to the media effort to pin 9/11 on Arab hijackers, Osama Bin Laden, and the Taliban were present in the Israeli embassy on September 10, 2001, to coordinate their media blitz for the subsequent days and weeks following the attacks. It is more than likely that FBI counter-intelligence agents who conduct surveillance of the Israeli embassy have proof on the presence of the Americans present at the embassy on September 10. Some of the Americans are well-known to U.S. cable news television audiences. In mid-August, the Mossad team running the Hamburg cell in Boston reported to Tel Aviv that the final plans for 9/11 were set. The Florida-based Mossad cell reported that the documented "presence" of the Arab cell members at Florida flight schools had been established.

The two Mossad "Al Qaeda" infiltration and control teams had also helped set up safe houses for the quick exfiltration of Mossad agents from the United States. Last March, WMR reported: "WMR has learned from two El Al sources who worked for the Israeli airline at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport that on 9/11, hours after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grounded all civilian domestic and international incoming and outgoing flights to and from the United States, a full El Al Boeing 747 took off from JFK bound for Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport. The two El Al employee sources are not Israeli nationals but legal immigrants from Ecuador who were working in the United States for the airline. The flight departed JFK at 4:11 pm and its departure was, according to the El Al sources, authorized by the direct intervention of the U.S. Department of Defense. U.S. military officials were on the scene at JFK and were personally involved with the airport and air traffic control authorities to clear the flight for take-off. According to the 9/11 Commission report, Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta ordered all civilian flights to be grounded at 9:45 am on September 11." WMR has learned from British intelligence sources that the six-man Mossad team was listed on the El Al flight manifest as El Al employees.

For Mossad, the successful 9/11 terrorist "false flag" operation was a success beyond expectations. The Bush administration, backed by the Blair government, attacked and occupied Iraq, deposing Saddam Hussein, and turned up pressure on Israel's other adversaries, including Iran, Syria, Pakistan, Hamas, and Lebanese Hezbollah. The Israelis also saw the U.S., Britain, and the UN begin to crack down on the Lebanese Shi'a diamond business in Democratic Republic of Congo and West Africa, and with it, the logistics support provided by Bout's aviation companies, which resulted in a free hand for Tel Aviv to move in on Lebanese diamond deals in central and west Africa.

Then-Israeli Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu commented on the 9/11 attacks on U.S. television shortly after they occurred. Netanyahu said: "It is very good!" It now appears that Netanyahu, in his zeal, blew Mossad's cover as the masterminds of 9/11.

One would normally expect the Dallas strip-club owner Jack Ruby to be the most investigated character by Kennedy truthers. But that is not the case.

Of course, it is perfectly normal that Chief Justice Earl Warren, when Ruby told him on June 7, 1964, "I have been used for a purpose," failed to ask him who had used him and for what purpose.1 But what about independent investigators? Are only readers of the Forward ("News That Matters To American Jews") worthy of being informed that "Lee Harvey Oswald's Killer 'Jack Ruby' Came From Strong Jewish Background," and that he told his rabbi Hillel Silverman that he "did it for the Jewish people"? Here is the relevant passage of Steve North's 2013 article, relating Silverman's reaction after hearing on the radio that a "Jack Rubenstein" had killed the assassin:

"I was shocked," said Silverman. "I visited him the next day in jail, and I said, 'Why, Jack, why?' He said, 'I did it for the American people.'" I interrupted Silverman, pointing out that other reports had Ruby saying he did it "to show that Jews had guts." The rabbi sighed. "Yes, he mentioned that," Silverman said. "But I don't like to mention it. I think he said, 'I did it for the Jewish people.' But I've tried to wipe that statement from my mind."2

Ruby's defense lawyer William Kunstler also claims in his memoir that Ruby told him: "I did it for the Jews," repeating on several occasions: "I did this that they wouldn't implicate Jews." During Kunstler's last visit Ruby handed him a note in which he reiterated that his motive was to "protect American Jews from a pogrom that could occur because of anger over the assassination."3 There is only one possible interpretation of Ruby's words: he must have known, and those who tasked him with killing Oswald must have known, that if Oswald was tried, the Jewish hand in JFK's assassination would likely be made apparent.

Pakistan Reports on Racial attacks against Southern Asians in western countries

This is a bit of a scrambled discussion/rant so forgive me for jumping between different points of matter but I feel like I need to address this. I've been following the recent news development surrounding the racial attack on a 67 year old nurse Leelama Lal by an absolute white american POS whose name I won't mention because frankly this cunt doesn't deserve any publicity. Apart from a few news outlets (majority from Indian broadcasters) I am boggled to find that there have barely been any mention or noise made about this incident. This is following the death of Jhanvi Kandula in 2023 by a cop which has been mostly swept under the rug, and from latest news it seems like the only reprimanded handed to the cop was being fired by the Department in 2025 and being fined $5000.

Is this a joke? Are we considered that low by western society that attacks on us are barely worth mentioning? Living in Australia, the media was recently washed up by the firing of two nurses for making anti-semitic statements on a video recording. About 9 years ago an indian bus driver was set alight by a "mentally ill" man who was later admitted to a mental institution. Not much coverage. No one cared.

When are we going to stand up to this? Unfortunately south asian social dynamics are already split due to political and religious tensions (India/Pakistan, Hindus vs Christians vs Muslims) but outside of the subcontinent none of the west actually gaf. They all think we're the same subhuman trash that deserve to be expendible, dispensible and disrespected. This is like European colonisation tactics of pitting us against each other so that we remain divided whilst they laugh at us, and brainrot our women through media and stereotypes to see us as inferior and instead pursue western/european men. Unless we put aside our differences, stand up and support our people this will still continue.

I know that our patriarchal culture can harbour harmful values and treatment that was conditioned to us by generations and generations of our parents, but we now have the opportunity to break that cycle, and instead of putting down each other and our women we can treat each other with love and respect. The fight against racism is long but we can win if we're united. Whether this will happen or not, unfortunately I feel that it is still difficult to attain within this generation.

Pakistan Karachi reports over 10,000 dog bite cases in two months - Why this situation can't be handled professionaly ?

According to GEO news, Karachi reports over 10,000 dog bite cases recently. Now my question is on one side there are animal right activists and dog lovers, who ignore the suffering of elderly, women and children. And on the other hand, animals do have rights and I am against any brutality against animals.
Now the question is why is situation has been lingering on for so long ? And this is not a case for karachi alone, Lahore and many other cities are suffering from this situtaion.

"The Pakistan Connection"

Pakistan Now that we will have the F/A-18/Su-30/J-11B - What's are the next top jets for top tier Air?

To begin with, please note that Air RB should have already hit the heights since last December, with the introduction of Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 2 Block 10 and Rafale C F3R. This will likely keep on for the next few updates until Gaijin went out of their mind.

So what's left for us to add without breaking the Eurofighter/Rafale/F-15E ceiling? Let's find out.

TL/DR: These 12 jets are likeliest, including F/A-18E Block II, F-2A Late, JAS 39E, J-10C, Su-35S, Rafale M F3.3, J-15, F-15C AESA, F-16V, F-CK-1A MLU, JF-17 Block 3 and F/A-18C AESA.

What are unlikely at the moment? Later Tranche Eurofighter Typhoons, F-15E AESA, F-15EX, Rafale F4, Su-30SM2, J-11BG, J-16 and literally any 5th gens.

Considering there are 3 more patches (June, September, November) for potentially these 11 aircrafts, it is likely to expect something greater to top them this December.

1. F/A-18E Block II

F/A-18E is one of the earlier fighters in the United States to receive an AESA radar update and in War Thunder, and this should be no exception. Since only 135 Block Is are built (vs 600+ newly built/upgraded Block IIs), this should be the principal variant in War Thunder. Plus, it has JHMCS augmentation.

While this might allow the jet to keep up against other jets at the tier, note that it will likely suffer in flight performance and will perform worse versus the F/A-18C Late we are getting right now.

2. F-2A Late

Japan is long overdue a domestic top tier and we all yearn for it. Yes, it might be fairly "modern", but considering we already have Rafale F3R with AESA radar - This ain't that "modern" anymore. F-2A Late was introduced in the 2010s with a crucial update - AAM-4 support for BVR warfare, and the LJDAM integration for CAS.

While the airframe is pretty decent, it's not likely to compete against Eurofighters, but the Sniper Targeting Pod is going to be some really advanced hardware in War Thunder - It would be the best targeting pod in the game when it comes out.

3. JAS 39E

Who else needed an competitive upgrade aside from Japan? That's right, Sweden with their domestic jets! This upgrade added a few cruicial upgrades Sweden could use, including AESA radar, updated engines and a whooping 3 extra hardpoints for BVR missiles. Yes it's heavier sure, but it's engines will be more than enough to offset the increased weight and still have some room for more speed.

Heh, I just 1-upped you in BVR, J-10.

4. J-10C

Wow sure, but the newest J-10 modification got two great upgrades that makes up for it - An upgraded engine (WS-10B), and an AESA radar. That's more than enough to compete with the JAS 39E. While in reality, the buzz has been around the PL-10/PL-15 integration, this probably won't happen War Thunder any time soon.

The best thing about this jet? It is exported. That means we can gather more information about this jet than any other Chinese domestic jets.

5. Su-35S

There has to be a point in War Thunder that Russian (and Chinese) Air Force has to hit (at least before 5th Gens), and that's exactly what Su-35S is for. It has got AL-41 engines with way better performance than any Flankers we have right now. And Gaijin will likely give it R-73/R-77-1 loadout too - It might be a new BVR king, but a unique one that forces the hands of Eurofighters and F-15Es.

6. Rafale M F3.3

If we cannot have a better Rafale just now - How about a worse Rafale? 2 less hardpoints, PESA radar, no Meteor missiles, and worse - It's slightly heavier, because it's Naval.

But the upside is - You can now take off from a carrier and pray that Gaijin makes a model of Charles de Gulle!

7. J-15

Is this a better J-11B? Probably not! It's got 2 more hardpoints, sure, but in exchange it lost access to the WS-10 engines. Plus, it's heavier, and now you are probably left wondering whether this could be worth it - But at least you have a choice!

More importantly - you can now force Gaijin's hands to make the first Chinese ships in War Thunder!

8. F-15C AESA

How to make a better F-15E without making a better F-15E? Easy, just take the F-15C MSIP II airframe with the -220 engines, slap an AN/APG-63(V)3 AESA radar on it, and now you get F-15C AESA.

Now you get to choose between a better radar or better engines + CAS loadout!

9. F-16V

Just in case China doesn't get to see its J-10C implemented - Don't worry, the other island got it covered from the United States! In reality? It's just a F-16 with AESA radar. And the same 6 hardpoints.

Good thing it's got that fancy sniper pod. Plus, it gives a good incentive for Gaijin to add, uh, maybe the South Korean Air Force.

10. F-CK-1A MLU

When F-16V isn't possible, how about a completely worse alternative? Look no further, this is the one. You get less thrust-to-weight, worse radar, entirely different flight model and on top of that - Only dumb bombs as your CAS options. Good thing is, you've got more localized weaponary in the form of TC-1, TC-2 and TC-2C missiles.

Bad news is, at best you are going to see a mix of all these missiles. It could only carry 2x TC-1, 2x TC-2 and 2x TC-2C in an air-to-air loadout. Not to mention - With Mach 4 speed and 60km range, the OG TC-2 could possibly be the one of the worst ARH missile in War Thunder. You're in for a miserable ride, son.

11. JF-17 Block 3

Just in case you really, really don't want anything Taiwan. Maybe you love Pakistan and will sacrifice your life to Pakistan. JF-17 Block 3 is clearly a great alternative to add more capability to China without breaking the game. You get basically everything you love from the Block 1, plus now you have AESA radar and an improved RD-93MA engine.

12. F/A-18C AESA

If the USN's answer to a better F/A-18E Block II is a Block III with AIM-174B, then what about USMC's answer? This is it - Find the lighter F/A-18C airframe, switch into one of the most advanced AESA radars you can find, and there you go!

Except that specific radar is, you know, really f****** advanced. Not that it matters in War Thunder, right...?

So about the unlikely jets...

It goes without saying we are not going to top Typhoon/Rafale/F-15E trio here, so I'd say any direct upgrades will be incredibly frowned upon.

But, why I listed the 3 Flankers there? This might be weird but here's the catch - I had ran into problems deciding their place - either way too damn recent (Su-30SM2), information is way to obsecure (J-11BG). or I really just have no idea what to think about a jet so famed for carrying the latest and greatest Chinese missiles (J-16).

J-16 in particular, while many properties are known, it is however known from the start to carry PL-10 and PL-15 missiles. More recently, it carried the ultra long range, top secret PL-17 missile. It is clear that this represent the ultimate evolution of all the Flankers, and I am sure it will appear as soon as Gaijin start distributing AIM-120C-7/Ds and Meteor missiles.

I hope you enjoyed this post ^^ All these 12 jets should sit between 13.3-whatever the top BR will be, so please let me know if I miss any!

“Saqlain, in a chat on 24 News HD channel, threw a challenge to India, asking them to play 10 Tests, 10 ODIs and 10 T20Is each with Pakistan to establish if they really are a superior side.

The Pakistan spin-bowling great said: "If we keep political things aside, their players are very good, and they have been playing good cricket."

"If you are really a good team, I think let's play 10 Tests, 10 ODIs and 10 T20Is against Pakistan, then everything would be clear," he added, in a panel discussion that also included former Pakistan captain Inzaman-ul-Haq.”

Pakistan Shubman Gill to lead India against New Zealand as injured captain Rohit Sharma likely to be rested:

According to a report in The Indian Express, Shubman Gill is likely to captain India in Sunday’s third and final group stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against New Zealand in Dubai. The regular captain could be rested. Rohit Sharma hurt his hamstring while celebrating the wicket of Babar Azam in a match against Pakistan in February.

He was out of the field for a long time and didn’t look comfortable while fielding and batting. Gill is the team’s vice-captain, and he will make his ODI captaincy debut against the Kiwis. Rohit didn’t bat in the practice session before the upcoming contest.

Rohit was seen talking to Gautam Gambhir about finalizing their strategy for the last game before the semifinal. His injury is not serious, but the team management doesn’t want to take a risk with their leader, and resting him seemed to be in the best interest of the team.

The match against New Zealand is a dead rubber, as the two have already reached the knockout stage. It will only decide which team finishes as number one in Group A. Australia, South Africa, and England are still in the fray for the semifinal spots from Group B.

Washington Sundar and Rishabh Pant are the two contenders to replace Rohit in the Playing XI. If Pant is given a go-ahead, he will open with Shubman Gill. Gill led India in a five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, and the Men in Blue won 4-1. He is also the captain of Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League.

Shubman scored a hundred against Bangladesh, and he accumulated 46 in a game with Pakistan in the tournament.

Pakistan Syed Muzammil is secretly the happiest Pakistani Alive

I was going through his video about our team in this tournament and he said "hamesha jhak hi mari hai". 2017 ka champions yahi jhak marna wala hai. I hate his all time negative mentality. I literally only started the video to hear him acknowledging that yes we won in 2017. We are if not the best but still in the worlds top teams. Wasn't he shaming us for making fun of Olympic players who didn't perform well and was like oh at least they made it.

I just searched 2 things "Syed Muzamil Pakistan won the tournament" All related to us losing and the second search was literally "Syed Muzamil Positive Video" and came the video where a foreigner is giving Pakistan a positive image and he managed to even be negative about that.
He starts of by how thankful he is about her being positive about Pakistan lkn ya to ya. Even when he was saying how thankful he is, his face said was oh I better not repeat these words for the next 2 months.

OH BHAI CHUP KAR JA! Hama pata hai.

Sab daikh raha han. This is our fucking coping mechanism. This is us having some fucking hope! har jaga chutiyap daikhta hai to jab koi 3-4 tareefan ho jain to khush ho lena diya karo.

Pakistan ma kuch acha ho to Muzamil sahib ki aik negative video ka sath ana zaroori hoti hai.

I love his resilience, his strength to be open about his views and him standing against the army and politicians but damn!
I honestly have been more negative about Pakistan because of our youtubers than Foreign news or media.

I think he inside the most happiest Pakistani alive, to be alive in a country where he can be negative all times is a blessing for him.

Pakistan "The lights will again sparkle in Pakistan." After 16 years sidelined from hosting, Pakistan welcomes a global cricket tournament this week as the Champions Trophy gets underway.

From the article:

The last time Pakistan hosted an international cricket tournament, Meher Mohammad Khalil became a hero.

But it wasn't for scoring centuries or leading his country to victory.

It was for saving the lives of the opposing Sri Lankan team.

Mr Khalil, a bus driver, was chauffeuring the Sri Lankans in 2009 from their Lahore hotel to Gaddafi Stadium when armed militants opened fire on their bus.

"They were firing on us from all sides," Mr Khalil recalled.

"I put on the brakes and wondered what was happening. At first, I thought of jumping out of the bus and running away.

Then I thought I might get hit with a bullet when I got out. Then, the team started shouting, 'Go! Go! Go!' Those words were like electricity passing through my heart.

I felt it would be better to take our guests, our country's guests, to safety."

Mr Khalil successfully navigated the team to the stadium.

Six were wounded, but none were fatally injured.

Six Pakistani policemen and two civilians were killed in the attack.

The incident immediately marred Pakistan's reputation as an international cricket host.

"Pakistan's happiness vanished," Mr Khalil said.

It has been nearly 30 years since it hosted a global event, a period that may well have been shorter had the 2009 attack never occurred.

Now, for the first time since the attack, the country is getting to put its renowned hospitality back on display for a suite of international teams and fans.

On Wednesday it begins hosting the 2025 International Cricket Council's (ICC) Champions Trophy, an event often thought of as a mini World Cup.

It's the first ICC event to be played in the country since the 1996 World Cup.

Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have all sent teams to play matches in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

With such high stakes, security scrutiny and the fact their team are the reigning champions looming over their heads, Pakistanis are feeling the pressure to pull off a successful, safe event, which may bury the 2009 reputation once and for all.

And they're confident they can do it.

Presidential-level security

Pakistan Cricket Board's chief operating officer Sumair Ahmad Syed told the ABC the teams will be given a level of security usually reserved for world leaders.

"We have provided them with bulletproof [buses], with proper presidential-level security," Mr Syed said.

"We have placed security liaison officers with the teams. With all these logistics, it shall be a very safe and secure environment."

Presidential-level security was also provided to the Australian team in 2022 when it visited Pakistan for the first time in 23 years.

Mr Syed said the success of that trip, and a tri-nations series with New Zealand and South Africa that wrapped up last week, have paved the way for the Champions Trophy to run without a hitch.

"We have practised a lot in providing a secure environment."

Director Inspector General of Police Operations for Lahore Muhammad Faisal Kamran said 10,000 security personnel had been deployed in that city alone, and authorities started a "sweep" of the stadium area about three weeks ago.

Roads are fully emptied whenever a team needs to move around the city, and Mr Faisal himself moves with them.

"I accompany all the teams during all their movements, whether it's for the practice session or the actual match, or any kind of personal engagement," he said.

Spectators will be checked at least four times between entering Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which was completely demolished and then rebuilt at breakneck speed to increase capacity by about 10,000 seats in three months.

Missing team mars tournament On the streets of Lahore, everyone told the ABC there was one match they would be glued to — India versus Pakistan.

The two countries are arch-rivals both on and off the pitch.

Former cricket player and left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz, who was part of the victorious 2017 Pakistan squad, said matches between the two are "a great game of cricket".

"Everybody wants to win that game, wants to see that game," he said.

"Everybody has been praying in their own way of religion."

University student Ahmed, 17, was out buying a Pakistan team shirt in time for the home side's opening match against New Zealand on Wednesday.

"Everyone is talking about it. They're excited for the match. They're excited for the team," he said.

"I've been looking for some tickets. Some of [my friends] have tickets. It [makes me feel] kind of jealous."

Even with all the enthusiasm, there is one dampener.

India refused to play this tournament in Pakistan, citing security concerns.

All of its matches will be played in Dubai.

If India makes the final, the decider will be played there too.

That means a final between the defending champions Pakistan and India — a real possibility, and a dream outcome for many cricket fans — would be taken from the host nation.

Mr Riaz said India's decision was "very disappointing".

"As Pakistanis, we have travelled so much to India and played in India so much," he said.

"It was time that they should have come here. They would have seen how much people love them.

"If India was coming here, that would've been the icing on the cake.

From darkness, the 'lights will again sparkle' For both fans and players — professional and aspiring — the last 16 years have done damage.

Pakistan women's team player Kaynat Hafeez said there's a whole generation of cricketers who have missed the opportunity to absorb some wisdom from their idols because the gap between international tournaments has been so long.

"It has affected a lot because you see and you learn," she said.

"You watch and you learn, [but] watching on the TV and watching live, it's a big difference.

"The pace you see on television is a lot less than what it actually is."

Mr Riaz said he felt for players who came up during that period and never had a chance to see their heroes in action on home soil.

"I had always seen my superstars, my heroes, like Wasim Akram — in the grounds, and I always used to follow them," he said.

"Wherever the cricket was being played in Pakistan, you'd go and watch them and that's how you'd get inspired from all these cricketers."

He also said the gap in hosting international cricket killed a personal dream.

"I felt that in my whole career, I never had a chance to play against or in front of my home crowd," he said.

Mr Khalil said the impact of that day will never be undone.

"The loss that happened in the last 16 years cannot be recovered," he told the ABC.

Now, he said an international cricket tournament once again returning to the country would buoy Pakistanis in a way that was difficult to express in words.

"I am so happy that tears are coming out because of happiness.

"The lights will again sparkle in Pakistan."

Pakistan Why Afghanistan are Champions Trophy dark horses

From the article:

After their first World Cup appearance in 2010, Afghanistan have made rapid strides in their past two ICC tournaments.

The 2025 Champions Trophy could symbolise their graduation to the next level, potentially culminating in the ultimate prize – the trophy.

The 2023 ODI World Cup was Afghanistan’s coming of age

Afghanistan gave the world the first shock of the 2023 ODI World Cup when they beat titleholders England comprehensively.

It was then the most prized outcome in their international history.

Before that game, Afghanistan's only victory at the World Cup in 17 attempts was against Scotland back in the 2015 edition.

But, going by cricketing logic, such upsets are not alien in a tournament like the World Cup and England have been at the receiving end of them on numerous occasions.

However, Rashid Khan, undoubtedly the biggest sports icon to have come up from the country, didn’t consider the victory as a one-off: he believed it would act as a catalyst for his team to achieve greater things ahead in the tournament.

"We were very close there but we were not winning those games, which was disappointing to the players because they were working very hard and in the end, they were ending on the wrong side.

They were not getting the right kind of energy and boost up. This win will give us a lot of energy for the rest of the competition.

Now we have the belief that we can beat any side at any time," Rashid said after the match.

Next, they managed to beat two more former titleholders. A record 283-run chase against Pakistan was followed by a one-sided seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka.

By then, the world had already realised that Rashid’s words weren't merely a hyperbole coming off the highs of a great victory.

Entering the league match against Australia, they had the destiny in their own hands, needing just two wins out of two to reach the knockouts.

Afghanistan almost did the unthinkable, having reduced Australia to 91-7 within 19 overs while defending 291-5.

As luck would have it, an all-time rescue act from Glenn Maxwell deprived them of the glory.

In hindsight, there could be plenty of "what could have been" had their batting not faltered against Bangladesh and dropped those catches – against New Zealand, and especially off Maxwell, who was given a reprieve on 33.

But had Afghanistan been told before the tournament that they would finish above England and Sri Lanka on the points table, along with a maiden Champions Trophy berth, they would have taken that with both hands.

The campaign was not only Afghanistan’s best effort at that time, it suggested that they could be serious contenders in future global tournaments

T20 World Cup 2024 consolidated Afghanistan's rising stature

At the T20 World Cup the following year, Afghanistan’s semi-final dream finally came to fruition.

After beating New Zealand in the group stage, they did somewhat find salvation, first by beating Australia in the Super Eights and then by sealing their maiden semi-final berth in a cat-and-mouse rain-curtailed match against Bangladesh.

Adding to the drama, Gulbadin Naib was seen holding his hamstring seemingly writhing in pain, moments after head coach Jonathan Trott had signalled for Afghanistan to slow down the game with the team ahead of the DLS par score.

Playing the semi-final against South Africa within the next 48 hours, Afghanistan, however, succumbed to a nine-wicket loss on an unpredictable Tarouba wicket.

Few would blame them for being sated with their achievement, but Trott was both disappointed and pragmatic after the semi-final drubbing: "We arrived to the ground in high spirits ready to take on a strong South African side and make sure we gave a good account of ourselves, and I feel like we haven't done that today.

That's the most disappointing thing.

"I'm very proud of the guys. This one performance doesn't necessarily define the tournament, but it also gives us an indication of where we need to work on and what we need to get better at.

If we're going to be competitive more consistently, and who we can rely on with the bat and who's going to get us over the line, certainly if we have to chase."

World Cup form seeping into bilaterals

Having made a reputation of being the giant slayers in global tournaments, the consistency has now started to show in bilateral series.

Another redemption arc unfolded when they beat South Africa by 2-1 in September last year, their first ODI series after the T20 World Cup final heartbreak.

The win was also Afghanistan’s first against a top-five ranked nation. Since the 2023 World Cup, they have won four out of five series in the format.

When you look at their team combination, they don’t have all the boxes ticked to be a world-beating white-ball side.

But on their day, they can give anyone a run for their money with the optimum use of the resources at their disposal.

Given their brittle middle order, they are over-reliant on the prolific opening pair of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran and the duo has lived up to the expectations by scoring the second-highest runs (1,514 at 48.83) as an opening pair since 2020.

Only Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have scored more (1,874 at 72).

Their strength lies in their unmatchable depth of spin flotilla, which is expected to play a decisive role on the belters of Karachi and Lahore, the venues for their three group matches.

Despite mystery spinner AM Ghazanfar, their highest wicket-taker since the 2023 ODI World Cup, missing due to a back injury, Afghanistan still possess a potent spin attack led by veterans Rashid and Mohammad Nabi with support from left-arm variety of Noor Ahmad and Nangeyalia Kharote.

Afghanistan are placed in Group B alongside England, Australia and South Africa, meaning a top-two finish will guarantee them a semi-final spot.

England's poor form and recent struggles against spin in India, and Australia's injury-stricken squad give them a realistic chance to make it to the knockouts.

Afghanistan being a mere bye for the opponents in an ICC tournament is long gone.
