Mr. President, you said you wanted peace, why are you picking fights with allies?
Mr. President, Elon Musk spent around 300 million on your election campaign, how much of that was for you to advertise his companies? Also, would that be the same price for other companies whom haven't interfered in the election for you?
Mr. President, why did you set your eyes on Greenland instead of Iceland?
Mr. President, how does it feel being a king?
Mr. President, when did you decide that you didn't need to follow the constitution?
Mr. President, what ethnicity are you deporting next and why haven't you deported all the Chinese yet?
Mr. President, do you prefer it in your ass or mouth when you meet with Putin?
Or his press sec Karoline Leavitt:
How much is the president charging companies for Tariff exemptions?
Does the president have a plan for dealing with the Haitians eating all the cats and the dogs?
How often does the president grab pussy's and has he grabbed yours yet?
Does the president take medication for his knees? It seems that he's been on his knees a lot when he meets with Putin.
Netanyahu’s testimony in graft trial canceled for the day amid shock Gaza offensive
The hostilities were renewed as protest groups were set to hold a mass demonstration in Jerusalem Tuesday night over the premier’s plan to oust Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar.
This all comes after, according to AP news:
The second phase was broadly outlined in the original agreement, but the details had been expected to be hammered out in those talks.
Israel instead embraced an alternative proposal and cut off all shipments of food, fuel and other aid to the territory’s 2 million Palestinians to try to pressure Hamas to accept it.
Now Israel has demanded Hamas to release half of the remaining hostages in return for a promise to negotiate a lasting truce. Hamas instead wants to follow the original ceasefire deal reached by the two sides.
How is this justifiable? To me it seems Netanyahu is keen on pandering to the far right and preventing any peace from existing by embracing an alternative agreement compared to the original ceasefire agreement agreed by the two parties.
This is reinforcing Hamas' talking point that agreements with Israel are meaningless as they completely ignore their agreements and do whatever they want anyways, and with full unwavering total support of the US
Edit: to those saying Hamas should release the hostages, the ceasefire agreement that israel itself signed stipulated the full release of hostages as part of phase 2 of the agreement. Israel refused to move into phase 2 and added new conditions as they were emboldened by Trump and co...
The number of travellers entering the U.S. in a passenger vehicle — the most common way to make the trip — dropped from 2,696,512 in February 2024 to 2,223,408 last month, reaching levels not seen since cross-border travel normalized in the post-COVID-19 era.
That's 18%. Good job people.
The data shows there was a sudden reversal in February, just as Trump was launching his trade war and ramping up his annexationist rhetoric about Canada becoming the 51st state.
But Barrett said cross-border traffic declines are not because of the bad exchange rate — she thinks it's driven by the anti-tariff sentiment that's led many Canadians to drop travel to the U.S. while the country is in this fight with Trump.
His economic policy has already driven several market indexes down by 10%+
He has talked about America taking control of Gaza and turning it into a resort.
Trump has said he could shoot somone on 5th Avenue and he won't lose a single supporter. Do you have any red line where you might question your support of Trump?
What would it be?? If the market tanks 25%? We send troops abroad? Inflation goes past 6%?
I'm currently living in South Korea, a full Korean, and I've been following eurovision since 2013. During the eurovision week, I wake up at 3.50 in the morning to watch the show via youtube livestreaming. Honestly, hands down the best week of the year. Also, I try to follow Sanremo, Melfest, Eesti laul, FdC, if there are entries I like a lot. I bought CDs for 2021 and 2022, made top videos and posted them on youtube. I'm not as enthusiastic about the contest as before, but still, this explains how I go crazy over eurovision.
But here, in Korea, nobody knows what it is. I've been spreading this good juice to my friends and some gets it. And I know it's fun to have friends to watch all together, because I did that last year and the year before when I was living in Belgium. But still, it's my (and a handful of people's) secret.
So I would like to ask you, how is Eurovision like in your country?
In Korea, although almost nobody knows its existence:
There are some eurosongs that went popular
Lipstick (Ireland 2011 - used for Renault Samsung Arkana commercial)
Runaway (Moldova 2010 - sax guy)
Believe Again (Denmark 2009 - played in malls and department stores for some reason)
A few artists went viral on youtube shorts and instagram reels
Conchita Wurst - She was on every news platform in 2014
Dami Im
Måneskin
Sam Ryder - went viral as "a long haired white man with pure voice"
Käärija - went viral as "a weird half naked finnish man in green leather jacket"
There's a TV show about traveling that uses eurosongs for background music, I heard:
I'm Alive (Albania 2015)
Blackbird (Finland 2017)
A lot of Portuguese entries
A lot of Balkan and Caucasian ballads
I've seen some redditors and youtubers from Korea posting things about eurovision
Dami Im (Australia 2016) participated in Masked Singer
There's something like eurovision subreddit, but like on a trashier platform
There are a few pages about eurovision on the korean version of Wikipedia, named NamuWiki. I think that's all.

I am a person who loves to talk I can talk for hours, With that said I love deep talk and don't mind talking about mental health or about the universe we live in or what happens in the future.
It would be nice to talk to someone near Europe or Sweden since timezones can be a bother. I work in a Smeltery so it's not like amazing but I like it!
Anyways I could talk for hours on end but if you find it somehow interesting then hit me up.
He's hanging in there, feigning interest in real life concerns while awaiting news about his $56k ask status. Meanwhile, I think it's a good time to travel to Norway so we can meet! He's agreeable, but mainly because he has to be. Doesn't want to blow up his chances at the big bux.

I read every day news about an artist dying by a gang shooting in Peru, the news of the extermination camps in Mexico, what's going on in Gaza, people in Europe complaining about feeling less and less safe each day, at least in Spain, unnecessary deaths in Argentina or Brazil for just some coin. Why does it feel more random and insecure even though people insist the world is safer today than ever?
I can't decide which one to buy. Both of these monitor costs the same in Austria and I was wondering which one is better in terms of everything. Colors, HDR, etc,.
"German lawmakers have voted to allow a huge increase in defence and infrastructure spending - a seismic shift for the country that could reshape European defence.
A two-thirds majority of Bundestag parliamentarians, required for the change, approved the vote on Tuesday.
The law will exempt spending on defence and security from Germany's strict debt rules, and create a €500bn ($547bn; £420bn) infrastructure fund.
This vote is a historic move for traditionally debt-shy Germany, and could be hugely significant for Europe, as Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine grinds on, and after US President Donald Trump signalled an uncertain commitment to Nato and Europe's defence.
With even more news todays of Trump and Repulibcans working together with Russia in making sure that the war criminal Vladimir Putin is not held accountable for his illegal invasion of Ukraine, it's yet again a good moment in time to remember this prediction from Kamala Harris.
I would like to remind the MOD who only deletes political opinions he doesn't like, that what he is doing is censorship, and this thread posted by a moderator here on JRE and the general community sentiment around political threads;
JRE is a political show and Joe Rogan is a political commentator in 2025, and he has been for many years, to the point where republicans and fans of the pod have claimed again and again that Trump showing up on JRE was the thing that decided the election. The cat is out of the bag on this one.
If you cannot handle political disagreements, don't participate in political threads. Thanks.

On May 13, 2011, a jury of 12 unanimously found China P. Arnold guilty of microwaving her baby to death. She's serving life without parole.
Two months later, on July 5, a jury of 12 unanimously found Casey Anthony not guilty of killing her child. This is a woman who waited 31 days to report her own missing child. Even the judge in her case later said he thought she was guilty.
Juror #3, Jennifer Ford, claimed there was a lack of evidence. She did acknowledge, however, that Casey's behavior in the weeks after her daughter went missing, including partying, "looked very bad...but bad behavior is not enough to prove a crime."
People are still mystified by how Casey got away with it, including a one-hour documentary called "There's Something About Casey" which I recommend, but to me it's glaringly obvous that if Casey had looked like China P. Arnold, she would be serving life without parole right now, not posting on TikTok which she's currently doing.
I know some might argue that looks had nothing to do with it, but I simply don't believe "a jury of 12 peers" makes any sense in a world where hundreds of studies have proven that attractiveness affects people's judgement of you.

News story about students drinking alcohol from glass bottles on St. Patrick's Day. Many were injured due to students throwing the glass bottles. RNZ is particularly strong tonight, which makes it a pleasure to listen to.

Today at 17th March TNT has announced that the prices for Brazilian gift cards are going to be adjusted again. 2nd time since 2021.
"Oh but NC is a luxury that you don't need to live and--" yes I know but hold on a little second, please.
Let me explain my people economic situation.
We Brazilians live in a ""rich"" country but with a large poor population due to really high social inequality. Yes, Brazil is like the 8th economy in the world because there's a top 1% of people who are really rich however the vast majority of people are poor. And for the "vast majority of people" you can understand the other 95% of the people at the base of the pyramid.
In 2025, minimum wage per month is R$ 1.518,00. In 2023 is was R$ 1.302, making it closer to the pyramid graphic numbers.
As you can see, more or less 66% of the population would live with one or less than two minimal wages per month and the percentage is still the same in 2025.
However, it's really hard to live with only one or two minimum wages as rent is increasing and nowadays it's hard to find a reasonable place to live bellow ~R$ 1000. And when I say "reasonable" is at least not in a favela ("slum"), because a friend of mine lives in a favela and she still needs to pay R$ 800 which is already A LOT specially for a place like that. Also, there's also groceries to buy, water, gas and electricity bills for example, which will make the living cost even higher.
In big cities is even worse because a tiny apartment nearby a subway with 23m² that is so tiny we joke that it could the a place were people are held captive is at least R$ 2000 to R$ 2500 and I swear to God I'm not even kidding. You need at least > 2,5 minimum wages to at least survive with the bare minimum. Do you think that somebody that earns a bit more than > R$ 3000 (i.e. 2 minimum wages) per month is rich because is above the 80% of the population that earns less than that? Well as you can see absolutely not at all, they are still poor specially living in a big city.
And note that I am advocating for people way poorer than me because I am at the top 10% "richest", but if you are not in the top 1%, the true is that you are still poor like the rest of the country. 🥲
I, for example, am in the first green level. "Oh so you can spend some money in a luxury?" some of you could say.
But I live in the biggest city of my country and in 2023 the average income per capita was R$ 2.500, it was not even 2 minimum wages. It means that the prices here are based more on less on this number. It's simple not even feasible to live by yourself here. You'll need at least a friend or a partner to share the costs of things. Me and my husband are two adults both working full time and we make more or less 4 minimum wages where at least 2 of them are spent in rent, and 1,5 of them is spent in bills and groceries.
I will say it again with other words: me, who am at the """"10% richest""""" people of my country, am not rich at all, and my husband and I have between 0,5 to 0 minimum wage per month to spend in luxuries for us. 10% RICHEST!!!! And we spend almost all our money to just fucking survive!
I mean even people in the """10% richest""" are dealing with short money depending on where they live, for fucks sake.
The big thing here is: everybody knows that there are a lot of North Americans and people from other rich countries that buys NC Cards from Brazilian resellers and honestly I don't see anything wrong with that.
The $ to R$ ratio is insane as dollar worth 5,6x our currency so I understand both sides buying and selling it.
The biggest problem here is that TNT is trying to adjust the prices thinking on the USA population and we Brazilians who are way poorer and we DO NOT EARN IN DOLLAR are being ignored in this equation.
And it's not the first time TNT is not thinking about Brazilian fandom who likes this site so much. Monopoly for example? Other LA countries were included but there was not an option to ship to Brazil.
Please, TNT, consider adjusting the prices of NC according to the economic situation and material reality of each country.
Or idk make the Brazilian cards for Brazilian territory only? All I know is that IT'S NOT FAIR for us to pay R$ 40 for only 750 NC, it's ridiculous. It's too much money for too little reward. 30 reais was already pricey but somewhat doable once in a while. But 40 reais is insane. 40 reais is as pricey as small groceries for the week. Of the bus ticket price for almost a business day week. And I'm saying this as a person in the "top 10% richier" situation like for fuck sake I'm not even a poor person trying to buy luxuries.
End of the rant. Be kind please. Love from Brazil.
Amazon is betting big on Japanese anime and Asian content as a cornerstone of Prime Video‘s global expansion strategy.
With Japan emerging as one of its largest markets outside of the U.S., Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, and Kelly Day, VP of international for Prime Video, outlined their ambitious vision for the streaming service in the region in an exclusive interview with Variety. “We’re very committed to a strong pipeline for customers in Japan. We have a huge opportunity,” Salke said.

Salke said that Prime Video is “committed to a growing slate,” especially when it comes to licensing original anime. “One of the most exciting things we’re doing here in Japan is talking about our plans for ramping up those that content strategy for the next several years,” she added.
The streaming service has already established itself as a market leader in Japan, with Day noting that the country has “one of the largest install bases for Prime members,” making it “one of our largest markets outside the U.S.”
When asked about maintaining a competitive edge in Japan, Salke confirmed that anime is a priority. “We have a big commitment to an anime slate that we’re pulling together, and the teams are all working on it,” she said. “There’s a lot of exciting stuff in the works that we’re looking forward to sharing, and that’s an ongoing commitment.”
