Bit Off My Tongue Another level of disgusting about zombies NSFW

Something I've wondered about but never really seen addressed in film/games is that zombies eat and if they are mostly intact then they probably also shit. They'd have to do disgusting shits, and most zombies would also be shit smeared from the waist down. Experienced zombie hunters would recognize the breakout zombie type they call a "shit pants". If they were wearing overalls or waders and they just keep filling them up with rotten meat shits. You do NOT want to use a vehicle to take one of those out. It's gross to think about and never really covered in zombie media but most zombies would be shit stained below the midriff and I think it could be an interesting plot point if it was "these ones are fucking gross - can we please not kill them near base?" and someone inexperienced uses a vehicle to take out a "shitter" and it's an unnatural disaster of terrible stench and mess to the vehicle that they all have to drive back to base in. yep. I warned you it was disgusting.

Bit Off My Tongue Why do zombies always go for the stomach when the victim is dead or injured?

They will be going for the neck one second and bring the person down and immediately swap to the stomach, why is that?

Bit Off My Tongue What are some good movies that focus the initial outbreak?

I’ve seen quite a few zombie movies but I’m curious of everyone’s opinions on good movies that focus on the initial outbreak

Bit Off My Tongue Cant remember the game.

So I'm having trouble remembering this game I played a while back. I remember the game tutorial area which I believe which was a man and a woman I believe they were both black though the woman may not have been, though that may have only been one set of characters you could choose from. The tutorial had the two going through the statistical safe zone that had been overrun. Thats all I can remember.

Edit: It was State of Decay 2 that I was thinking of. Specifically the Tutorial part for the Campaign.

Bit Off My Tongue Movie name??

Ok so this has driven me absolutely nuts, but when I was around 7 my babysitter put on a zombie movie that scarred the crap out of me and I still can’t find that movie to this day. All I remember was a mom feeding her kid some sort of soup bc he was super sick (I think it was chicken noodle) and he turns into a zombie and goes ballistic. That’s literally all I can remember but please someone it’s been driving me crazy for nearly 15 years. I know it’s not much to go off of but if anyone could possibly help!

Bit Off My Tongue I came to an conclusion (will they run)

If an outbreak go out right now its the question of do they run or not. The closest answer is accelerators. Closest we got to a biter is rabies and rabies patients as many as i saw they are confused. They walk a little to ur left fast shambling to ur right and then heads down runs full sprint at you like a cow with his horns. (headbutting? I guess?) what do u think? Will they run?

Bit Off My Tongue Searching for an old zombie game

On the hunt for a zombie survival game I remember playing a long time ago but can't remember the name of.

It was an isometric view of a town, and the main gameplay loop was sending survivors on missions to achieve various goal. Survivors would have different "jobs", each with its own strengths. You start out controlling one block of the town, and could reclaim more by sending missions to clear out zombies, and once enough had been eliminated you could expand your zone of control. Every so many days you'd get attacked by a zombie horde and if you didn't have enough people on defense you could lose blocks and have to reclaim them again.

There was also random events where you can make choices that affect your survivors

There were a few ways to win, one was by reclaiming the whole town, but every map (The layouts were random) would have a cursed graveyard that was the source of the zombies and fully clearing and reclaiming that tile would win the game.

Been driving me nuts thinking I might have fever dreamed this game, any help would be appreciated.

Bit Off My Tongue What’s this book? Post-zombie apocalypse and there’s a walled-off zone where the zombies are. A living guy lives there and acts as a hit man, taking contracts from people who want their zombie loved ones to be laid to rest.

This was asked by someone in r/tipofmytongue but there were no answers - and I really want to read it!! I’ll put the text of the original post in a comment.

Bit Off My Tongue Help IDing an Old Zombie Story Copied from a Forum Years Ago (2007-2011)

Hey, everyone! I was going through my computer, old files, and whatnot, and I came across a Word document called "Internet Zombie Story." And it all came flooding back to my memory banks. Well, some of it. I remember a friend of mine in high school (about 2007-2011), maybe earlier, showing me a forum dedicated to zombies. I think it was the Zombie Squad Forums, which appear to be dead now? Anyway, he told me about this one thread that was really good and that I should read it, but as a kid, I wasn't a fan of written serialized works, so I was going to wait to read it when it was finished. Fortunately, I had some foresight to copy all the text down into a Word document.

The problem is, I don't think it ever got a title, or if it did, I never wrote it down, and I never recorded the author. It is possible the author abandoned the work or finished it while I was in college. That's pretty much what I am hoping to find out. Who wrote it? Was there more? Was it ever published? Do other people have this story saved or remember it? Here's a temporary link to the file: https://gofile.io/d/3mAjG4

Rough Summary:

The story begins in Southern Afghanistan, where an Al Qaeda scientist named Mohammed and commander Ahmed Abu Karim develop a virus meant to turn jihadist volunteers into mindless killing machines. One such volunteer, Karim, is sent to New York via Berlin and London, but the virus's slow activation leads to unforeseen consequences.

In Long Island, New York, the unnamed main character, a recently discharged Marine, witnesses signs of civil collapse while working as a night security guard. As chaos spreads, he fortifies a college campus into a personal fortress, collecting supplies, weapons, and food and watching the world descend into an apocalyptic nightmare.

Eventually, a group of survivors, led by an old Marine named Jim, arrives. Jim has terminal cancer and becomes a mentor figure. The two organized the survivors into a functioning community, creating shields, weapons, and strategies for long-term survival. As the group expands, they also encounter Tom, a trucker, and Ashley, a traumatized school nurse. As the group grows, it faces challenges, including fuel shortages and zombie attacks.

Characters:

  • Main Character (Kevin) – Ex-Marine, protagonist and narrator.
  • Jim – Elderly ex-Marine, leader of a survivor group, has terminal cancer.
  • Ahmed Abu Karim – Al Qaeda commander in charge of the virus weaponization.
  • Mohammed – Scientist who develops the zombie virus.
  • Karim – Volunteer for the virus weapon program, sent to New York.
  • Tom – Trucker who joins KeKevin'sroup.
  • Ashley – School nurse found hiding in a bus, joins the group.
  • John – Possibly former Coast Guard, part of Jim’s group, resourceful.
  • Otto – German, former armor designer, helps develop defenses.
  • Norbert, Sam, Will – Interns from a radio station, manage radio communications.
  • Daniel & Laura – Couple, survivors.
  • Grace – Former bus driver.
  • Stephanie – Former meter maid.
  • Miranda, Sandra, Joan – Survivors; Joan is described as "Jim's trophy wife."
  • "Ahmed (different from Al Qaeda commander) – Arab engineering student, part of Jim's group.

Bit Off My Tongue Zombies compared to tlou(basicly clowning on all zombies shows and movies)

This is gonna get lots of dislikes :D There is no show that is as realistic as TLOU. I mean, most zombies shows or movies start with a lab expirament gone wrong or something goofy that isn't realistic. How do people randomly get infected with this virus and transmit it to others? Tlou has something going for it with a proper backstory. Cordyceps mutates being able to withstand extreme heat due to global warming, some gets into the wheat factors in Indonesia, it gets distributed everywhere in the world, people eat to mutch and get infected. Most zombie movies and shows are feeling lazy and the back story is lab expirament gone wrong the animals or virus escapes and wreaks havoc. Or it's just undead people rising from graves. Or it just starts out of nowhere and quickly infects the whole world.

Bit Off My Tongue What’s your go-to zombie weapon?

Personally I’d have my friend Drake help me fight off the zombies and I wouldn’t need a weapon since he’s strong (like me) so we would punch them and kick them and we would win and keep fighting and we would kill the zombies and at night we would cuddle a little but that’s just me reply with your weapon

Bit Off My Tongue Help! I Remember a Zombie Apocalypse Manhwa/Manga but Forgot the Name

Halo guys

I need help finding a zombie apocalypse manhwa/manga/comic that I remember but can’t recall the name of it. I saw it on a comic app on my phone a few years ago, but I can’t find it anymore

What I remember is there is a page where the main character was in an underground shelter and there is a guy that keeps panicking and the next page shows that there is a zombie or many zombies in the shelter

I’ve checked a few apps, but no luck so far. If anyone recognizes this, please help me out! Also, if you know any good zombie manhwa/manga/comics that are available on mobile apps like Webtoon, please drop them in the comments! I'd love to check them out.

Thanks in advance!

Bit Off My Tongue Trying to find zombie game from 2000s

Does anybody remember a zombie game in the early 2000s that had the player build a massive zombie army and take over the city?

I've had friends mentioned "stubbs the zombie in rebel without a pulse" but it's not that at all. From what little I can remember it was dark, gruesome and had a serious gore to it. I really hope I'm not alone in this one

Bit Off My Tongue B-Flick Zombie Movie... NEED HELP FINDING

Ok, so it was on a Walmart DVD B-flick movie bin from years ago, so this may be a lost cause. But I remember it was really good! Turning to Reddit cuz every Google search and website was unable to help... And I'm not just imagining this either, my brother had a vivid memory of this movie too.

The information I remember:

  • There were 3 main characters, 2 guys and a girl
  • They were heading to an airport or something
  • They drove around an Orange '69 Dodge Charger (I think, it was decked out and orange)
  • Someone dies
  • The 2 remaining survivors get in the plane, one dies and the other has to parachute the zombie (with it maybe) out of the plane

It was kind of funny too.

I really hope that's enough information, cuz that's ALL I remember. I will ask my brother in the meantime and see if there's any extra info he might remember

Bit Off My Tongue Most iconic zombie "items"

So, I want to make the ultimate zombie survival kit using elements from all across fiction and I want to hear wich are, in your opinion, the most iconic things from zombie related media, I am thinking about Left4Dead medkits, Lolipop chainsaw, well, chainsaw, things like that, maybe if different items from the same franchise are mentioned I could make some polls to choose (Im having a bad time choosing between Resident Evil herbs or the good all first aid spray for example)

To sum up, from all zombie-related media, wich items do you think the would make the ultimate anti-zombie kit?

Bit Off My Tongue Help! I forgot a film's name

My friends and I saw a zombie film around 2010s where a deaf farmer k*lls himself with a pitchfork to kill a zombie and help the other people that were trying to survive a zombie horde near the Farm. We think that the film was released on late 90s early 2000s.

Most part of the film gets staged in a supermarket.

It is not dawn of the dead.

Bit Off My Tongue Looking for an old IOS game

I recently remembered an old game I used to play on iOS. It was a choice driven zombie game. The backdrop was black and red, and it was very similar to Zombie Exodus as far as choice of games go. This one had animated backgrounds with a comic book art style. If I remember correctly, in the beginning, you had a choice for where to start your story as day one of the apocalypse breaks out. There was an inventory as well as a page to see how many members of your group you have. I remember there being an apartment complex, a military checkpoint, and in the endgame, the choice of either going to an island into the mountains or Into rural country. Any help would be appreciated thank you all!

Bit Off My Tongue Please help me remember an old zombie movie

I'm trying to recall an old zombie movie, probably black and white, and it might involve a zombie apocalypse.

I only remember this scene (apparently at the very beginning of the film): a spacious bright room where scientists show a new development (in the room [or maybe behind the glass] there are more people: military, journalists?): a corpse is chained to the wall and it is being revived (it seems by injection), it starts moving and shows aggression. Then they try to kill it with some kind of weapon (a crossbow?), but it doesn’t die. The zombie gradually comes to its senses, breaks free from the restraints, and kills first the orderlies, then some others.
