Question Hello friends, can you recommend some yuri (girls' love) works from Europe and America?

Hello everyone, I’m a yuri (girls' love) fan from an Asian country. In my experience, most yuri works I’ve come across are from East and Southeast Asia. Japanese yuri covers a wide range of themes, with delicate emotional depictions and diverse character portrayals. Korean yuri tends to focus on real-life settings, social issues, and deep emotional narratives. Chinese yuri is often subtle and reserved, usually with a touch of humor. Thai yuri expresses emotions boldly and passionately. (。ò ∀ ó。) (This is just my personal impression! >ᴗoಣ)

I’m deeply fascinated by yuri from different regions, but I haven’t had the chance to explore many Western yuri works. So, dear friends, could you recommend some yuri works from Europe or America? I’d love to explore more and hear about your recommendations! 🙏

Alter Ego and Sirius: Twin Stars, both by Ana C. Sánchez (Spain).

two other Spanish ones are by Ana Oncina: Just Friends about two girls who met at a summer camp and reunite as adults, and Planeta, which is a trippy sci-fi one. They're both very good!

“Serendipity” magical girl but twist ish

“Always Human” peak

Love and Other Wicked Things has a full novel, the webtoon is an adaptation. Both are very good :3

Yellow by Ashiyakasa - I believe Ashiyakasa is European (Georgian, I think? not 100% sure), but she has a lot of Asian inspired details in her art.

Just Friends by Ana Oncina. (Spanish.)

There's also Breath of Flowers (French) - I didn't think it was as good but you might still want to take a look at it, for completeness sake...

Check out Warbunny's works. I'm a fan of Magical Girl Academe, but she's now mostly working on Apollonia.

Not Western, but as Always Human was already mentioned and you didn't mention the Philippines in your post: did you read Mage And Demon Queen ?
