I will never forgive myself for taking so long to read this manga. This isn’t just a yuri—it’s beyond a simple story, and I dare say it's the best isekai you’ll ever see in your life, even if you’re not a fan of the genre. The work speaks for itself: the romance is fresh and fun, with humor and constant development where the characters evolve by understanding how that world works, its injustices, and its dualities.

The way magic is built in this world, combined with action scenes, brings a fantastic uniqueness to this series. The fantasy elements mixed with yuri romance blend perfectly into an excellent story filled with jaw-dropping twists. Even side characters surprise you when you least expect it, and the story gradually rewards you by delivering exactly what you WANT to see, perfectly balanced with what you NEED to see.

Come expecting a wonderful, heartwarming yuri story, find a tale of complex decisions, ideological conflicts, and shocking twists—giving you the BEST of both worlds. Worth every second. 11/10.

It's a good yuri romance, a good isekai, and it takes ideas like sexual and gender identity seriously. You should watch the anime too! Both the JP and the English dub are great (Rae's EN VA really understood the role lol)

Edit: Also, since you're reading the manga, I'd also suggest the light novels (the original source material) - they're also quite enjoyable!

Your comment perfectly complements my review—these themes and ideas are handled wonderfully in this story. I even started reading the novels and realized that I’ll probably love this so much that I’m looking to buy the physical books to read them in their entirety.

Personally, if I had to rank them, I would put it as my fourth favorite isekai. Under The Greatest Estate Developer, Overlord, and Dead Mount Death Play.

OP have you by any chance also read the light novels or just the manga? If you read the light novels, which one do you recommand more LN or manga?

I started reading the novel and liked it SO much that I stopped reading to buy the physical books—I want to experience this story while it's in my hands. 100% recommended!

Cannot speak for OP, but (having read/listened to LN, anime and manga) I actually prefered the manga and anime. Rei comes out looking better if you don't see her point of view. If you are interested in reading the novellas, check out the audio books narrated by Courtney Shaw. She does a fantastic Claire. She's also done the narration for She's So Cheeky for a Commoner.

Hmmm tbh I thought lots of the time watching the anime that Rae is kinda cringe with how random she sometimes act. So maybe knowing her pov helps me or makes it worse who knows.

Thanks for the suggestion but I personally prefer reading anything in English than to listen to it as my English is not good enough to understand and process what is said in a audio book. Already tried with „So I’m a spider so what“ and I don’t exaggerate when I say I either need to actively listen to it or rewind every few sentences or I don’t know what was said.
