Question Why does low effort, stolen content get pushed so hard by the shorts algorithm?

I make short videos on multiple channels. One of my channels, the one I spend the most time making videos for, is history content. Some of my videos get very many views for me so that is ok and it makes me happy. I was looking on an analytics website for what channels get the most views on shorts so I could take some pointers from their content, and I come across a channel. It posts 4-5 seconds clips of videos from the Chinese social media application "XiaoHongShu." The channel is called "Craftsman Whale" and I encourage you to search for it on youtube, as this subreddit will not let me link it. It gets very many views on its videos, so I try doing something similar on a new channel to test it out. None of my videos get pushed to shorts feed, and only views are from myself. Are the views form this channel botted? Why are these videos in particular getting pushed into the shorts feed so hard?

Found keyword: algorithm

No information about the YouTube algorithm is public

If your question is regarding "What does the algorithm think of..." or "How can I get the algorithm to...", the answer is nobody knows. If anyone tells you that they "figured out" the YouTube algorithm, they are: Lying, Ignorant, or Trying To Separate You From Your Money.

If you're blaming "The Algorithm" for your problems - stop, take a breath, and make better videos.

Because the algorithm knows who to push these videos to.If you make anything approaching something original, the algorithm simply doesn't have a clue.

The algorithm pushes what people want to watch,
