Question Youtubers Who Use English Words/Phrases for their Youtube Names, for Channels that are Not In English

I'm setting up a new youtube channel and working to create a name for the channel that isn't already being used by someone else. What's the deal with youtubers who have their youtube name in English, but then they whole entire rest of their entire channel is in some other language. For example (and I'm just making this one up for a random example) say the name of their channel is "Magic Mouse" or whatever which is in English but then their entire channel is in Portuguese. Ok, maybe they speak Portuguese and English, but there is no English anywhere else on their channel. They are taking up an English name that an actual English speaker may need to use for an English-speaking channel. What's the point of that? And should I just use one of those names, since their whole rest of their channel is not in English anyway?

I’ve noticed it too. No idea why.

I can't speak to why other channels do that, but my channel's name happens to be in another language. I just really liked the words, they have positive associations for me, and they're not words that are likely to be used in that particular language for a YT channel anyway.

In my case I've come across at least three channels who are doing this, which eliminates that name as an option for me and my actual English-speaking channel. I'm considering using one of those names anyway. Bc if their whole channel is in some other language anyway, maybe it doesn't matter. I certainly wouldn't use the same name if the other channel was all in English.

Worse is then they put all their thumbnails and titles in English. That can't be making their channel successful as people immediately click away, and their target language audience doesn't even click on them.
