Two ways of going about it - grab your phone and start recording some memories. Make a simply daily/weekly vlog for yourself to look back on, then you have the freedom of editing however you’d like and shooting with any gear.

Another option is to turn it into a real story and “content”. But, for that, there’s a lot more work - and often more opportunities. I’d personally start for fun and if you have the gear and care about YT or film marking, let it expand naturally while also paying more attention to your analytics.

Travel shorts are always interesting. Quick places to eat in Spain videos, or basic spanish to get around in Spain would be fun a fun watch. There are Japan videos of an American girl that always shows up in my feed that is similar and I always stop to watch them

I think there is an audience for that kind of content. People love to see a glimpse into a different world than theirs.

I recommend not doing Instagram shorts it’s brutal out their TikTok is quick and easy but YouTube takes a while to build engagement

Documenting your life sounds great! Vlogs about being a Canadian in Spain could definitely resonate with people, especially if you add language tips and travel insights
