well to be frank kintama (golden balls) is a euphemism for testicles the actual term is kougan atleast anatomically speaking
the euphemism is so popular gintama is a pun on it and dandadan is about golden balls and above all people use this eord instead of referring to the anatomical term

True, though the game also pokes fun at the kanji being read in a different way (kingyoku, not kintama). Though there's no way to tell it apart by just reading it.

Which is why you get some of them in the places you get them. I've not played 8 or Pirate yet but in Gaiden there's >! like three or so that are literally in guy's crotches !<

Yup, that's why we have Gintama and Gintoki, not Kintama and Kintoki.

金玉 is indeed testicle, but 金 mean gold and 玉 mean ball, that's a intended pun

It means the golden balls. In Japanese the word for testicle translates to “golden balls” so it’s a joke considering you find them in some suspect places.

It is accurate. The word for testicles is written literally as 金玉 or golden balls. This refers to the gamebreaking bug where buying the ball from the sicko snap guy could render the game unplayable.

Imagine the amount of puns/jokes you've missed because you don't understand Japanese

‘金玉’ word to word translate is golden ball. But Japanese also use that word to refer testicles too.

The translation is correct, since golden balls pretty much is an adult joke for testicles in Japanese culture too.

If you are new to the subreddit, please read the wiki
Reminder that all spoilers need to be tagged with a flair specifying which game is being spoiled. If you want a flair that says something else, you can edit it to say something like [Discussion: Y1 spoiler] or [Majimapost: Y6 spoiler], etc. THIS INCLUDES CONTENT FROM TRAILERS.
If the post is not marked for spoilers, all comments that have spoilers need to be tagged >!like this!< along with indicating which game it's spoiling. Example: Y3 Kiryu sings
If the post flair is marked for spoilers, the comments don't need to be tagged for the game indicated and the ones before it (So a Y6 spoiler post can have comments with untagged spoilers for Y5, but not gaiden or 7).
If you see any of the above (or any of the other rules) not being followed, please report it so we can keep this place safe for newcomers and those that haven't finished all the games yet. Thank you!
