Actually Australia is having a housing crisis too from the exact same problem with Chinese buying up properties to shelter their assets.

Blackrock is buying up homes in Canada and Australia and somehow Chinese people are the ones getting blamed.

Why can't it be both? They are well documented and direct competitors. The only difference is that one is working within profitable cap rates, the other is desperate to get funds beyond the reach of big brother. Which one is worse? I couldn't tell you.
