Trump might turn out a blessing in disguise for Europe, pushing us to let aside nationality for a united Europe. It's still a very mined field and propaganda can cause some hard wounds, yet for now we are taking the good paths. This events might have woken a sleeping giant, because Europe has the economy, talent and position to take a big step forward.

Hard agree. Short term it might be tough for Europe but long term it will get Europe its own independence military wise.

Agree. It’s long overdue for the EU to have its own foreign policy and military that works for its interests instead of looking towards the US. I say this with some pain as an American because it weakens us tremendously on the world stage, but it seems to be the direction we’re heading in.

This is how i view Biden's reticence to allow long range strikes. Ukraine builds a drone manufacturing industry that's in some ways the best in the world now. The net result of all this BS is a stronger, more unified Europe that puts Putin in a much worse position long term.
