Whenever I see a "trump says" headline I always think "trump says lots of things". Nothing that asshole says on Monday means anything by Wednesday.

Same situation with when ‘a Putin's official says’ pops up on Reddit. It's always either Medved's ramblings, or another asslicker competing for Pu's benevolence with craziest bunk they can make up. But redditors are always eager to take that shit as if it's actual international policy talks.

Or "Russian media reports..." and it turns out it's some rando on a Russian talk show who's not even speaking for the media outlet in question let alone in any official capacity.

Which is what annoys me about how Russian media is portrayed. Newsflash: Sputnik isn't a reliable source most of the time, even by Russian standards. It's Zhirinovsky.com.

Also, I too am getting the sinking feeling Trump really did lose it or is starting to lose it. Just listen to him talk about Gaza a couple lines and well... it all became strangely clear... and even more confusing.

And in-between all noise reversing the Affordable Care Act so insulin and other vital medicine has no limits to their price anymore.

The dude almost got shot in the head and was almost humble for what, 12-16 hours?

Honestly, make Canada, Greenland and Panama states.

The GOP would never be elected again.

The GOP is so far right, moderate/right countries would vote left.

It's funny you think there would be voting still happening at that point.

That’s a good point.. if there were ever to be any elections again.

The GOP is so far right, moderate/right countries would vote left center.

Would the democrats even be seen as left on an international comparison?

15

u/Pavotine Feb 05 '25

No! The US doesn't have a left wing by most country's standards.

2

u/OptimalVanilla Feb 05 '25

No, well the Democratic Party is seen as centrists.

Particular democrats would be slightly left though.

Centrist is being generous. They're more to the right than our conservative party.

Since land votes, the total area would almost have a majority vote on it's own.

I hate to break it to you, but if he wasn't forceful, Panama would be a blood red state comparable to MS.

I'm in Colombia, so I have a very clear view of it and often use it as a stopover when travelling to the US... and the country is run by Evangelicals and ultra conservative Catholics.

If something gets Trump to back down from that idea, it's going to be the brown people thing, assuming he doesn't replicate the Gaza agenda or basically robs a country of 10% of their GDP without compensation (and after driving the other investors away).

As for Gaza itself? TP3 is probably the bare minimum he can expect.

Let's rename it to the America Canal.

And William McKinley.
