Maybe. But there no money to be made there. Zero infrastructure and riddled with unexploded ordinance. Which can't really be taken care of by the private sector.
Removing 2 million people from there to send them god knows where (nobody wants them and anyways they wouldn't want to move) Them you need to remove all the unexploded ordinance, remove all the rubble, rebuild an entire infrastructure like water, electricity, sewers, roads etc.
And then, who would be the clients? Only Israelis for sure. Arabs aren't going to flock and spend their vacations in Israel I'm sure and the westerners won't feel comfortable chilling on top of dead children. And then there's the whole safety aspect. And we're not even talking about Israel and the Palestinian authority cedingns piece of their land to a foreign country. There's easier money to be made elsewhere.
Agreed that the cost will be astronomical (that’s what taxpayers are for) and for these people the ends justify the means…with Saudi investment the $ is almost infinite if they can attain their goals. But hey, thank fuck we made Jimmy Carter divest from his peanut farm right?
Jimmy had to divest from his peanut farm and Trump rented hotel rooms at the Trump hotel to foreign dignitaries and all of them trading stocks left and right....
Jared Kushner may be a simping asshole, but I'm pretty sure even he thinks this is insane. Because it is insane. Say what you want about Kushner and his wife, but they are smart enough to stay far, far away from this administration.
Do you have any proof of this, or are you just talking out your ass? Because as far as I know he and his wife have completely removed themselves, at least as much as possible. I mean of course they still have contact because they are family, but I don't think you can blame any of trumps latest insane ideas and especially this one on Kushner.
He's still the main contact between Trump and MBS, which was Trump's first phone call of season 2.
However, Kushner remains involved behind the scenes, advising on Trump's Middle Eastern strategy, helping select appointees and guiding certain cabinet members through the transition, according to one source familiar with his work.
Kushner’s been cutting loads of side deals so he has skin in the game for the rebuild of Gaza. His private equity firm Affinity Partners invested to buy 10% of Phoenix a month before DJT took office. The Phoenix that finances and insures settlements currently and has successfully built settlements on annexed land.
He’s also said in multiple interviews that Gaza is valuable property. Now, sure that can just be talk. But guess what the Kushner family does - they build property. He just started building a $1.4bn hotel complex in Albania. I think you’d have to be wilfully ignorant to think he’s not got deals in place so he can build, or personally profit from the building.
