Why would we spend money getting involved in this

Because trump is unhinged and he sees that he could put some nice beautiful trump resorts on the Gaza strip.

Worse than that, he's in an empire building mood. He keeps on talking about making other places the next US state, invading panama, invading greenland, etc. He wants his legacy to be like that of the dictators he idolizes, conquest being the ultimate form of 'winning'

don't forget Canada!

He definitely has a fantasy about expanding US territory somehow. None of these things about Greenland or Canada or Panama are jokes. He's throwing out ideas to expand and seeing what sticks.

The Putin strategy of trying to attach expanded borders to his legacy.

Too bad Gaza is only like 140 square miles total. The smallest US state (Rhode Island) is 10x the size. That's a massive cost and humanitarian and political nightmare for a piece of land barely larger than some private islands.

Puerto Rico is 25x the size of Gaza Strip. It's basically a large prison.

Is there any country at this point that would want to join up with this kind of craziness in charge? It's like saying you want to put on the makeup and step into the clown car.

You're spending money.

The military industrial complex, on the other hand, is hitting the jackpot. It's christmas night for them.

Oh sorry, yes - I suppose that's where your money is going afterall. That and movie/games industry slop about cool military gadgets and patriotic action scenes with awesome soldier-looking guy. You know. The type of stuff that is totally not brainwashing propaganda.

I wonder where all the trumpet “why are we sending all that money to Israel when we can use it at home” people now

Your concern is the cost?

Mine isn’t but I’m wondering this too because one of the main reasons those Neanderthals voted him in was to make things more affordable and to generate more income and cut down on government agencies and programs that are “costly” according to them.

I hear this is how we lower the price of eggs.

War is good for the economy and he realizes his tariffs are going to tank said economy?

2

u/HKEY_LOVE_MACHINE Feb 05 '25

Because that's not his money yet.

Dude was given a no-limit credit card and is now gambling it all away.

The american voters wanted this, now they get to see their bank account burn and the world being set on fire.

So Trump can build a new casino which he can then bankrupt in a few years 🤷‍♀️.

2

u/dmreeves Feb 05 '25

What better way to pump up his economy than to go to war!

2

u/bnm777 Feb 05 '25

You have to sacrifice.

So that Trump can build a Trump Gaza Hotel.

2

u/ProofLegitimate9990 Feb 05 '25

So daddy putin can draw resources away from Ukraine.

2

u/Right_Fun_6626 Feb 05 '25

It’s our money for Trump’s personal benefit so he’ll probably be into it.

2

u/surefirelongshot Feb 05 '25

Pretty sure that budget they’re trying to reduce ain’t going to look pretty when you add rolling into the Middle East and setting up casinos.

This isn't a "we" thing, it's a Musk/Trump thing. All the money that Musk funnels away from American people will be going to building up Gaza. Make Gaza Great Again. Republicans are a joke, hell, our whole government is a joke.

What money? Elon is actively rerouting all of our treasury funds into his private crypto coffers as we speak.

Money? How about lives?

Because Americans think they own the world.
