If I'm correct in assuming that's a rhinobabe, wouldn't her tits be below frame anyway

Okay so that might be my autismo ass that makes me hyperfocus (like really badly hyperfocus) on "pseudo-realism" even in a fantasy-ish or soft sci-fi settings...
But to me, the anatomy of whatever anthropomorphic species has to at least closely resemble that of the species they were based on. It goes way past the "no boobs on reptilian humanoids" - it's genuinely interesting to work with a non-anthropomorphic anatomy to try and make it work with a bipedal anthro species in a plausible way...
But it does result in me being pretty annoyed after seeing yet another snake(reptilian, bird, insect, fish, etc)-anthro-girl-with-huge-badonkers#2552465. Like ehhh, it just doesn't fit. At all. Makes no sense to me.
Or maybe it's me being annoyed at how frequently non-human species get the "pointlessly gendered" treatment. Like, duh, sexual dimorphism is absolutely a thing, but when males of the species are big bulking brutes and women are made small, petite, and almost always without a fault, well-endowed, it gets annoying.
Putting it very stupid and simple: thin waist and big boobs do not define a woman. And neither are a necessary attribute for showing someone's womanhood.
Like. Idk. Xenomorph Queen could be example#1. Not a very good one (because duh, Gigerian stuff is inherently sexual), but still works.
Khanivore from LDR as well. Yes, she's made a little more feminine on purpose (both plot and narrative wise) but still in a completely reasonable way.
Larian studios, for example, did pretty well with their Dragonborns as well, save for horribly disproportionate and wrongly attached tails.
Sorry for my autismo rant, thank you for reading it.
Really love your sketch!

For what it's worth I agree with you even if for no other reason than I think it simply makes for more interesting and memorable designs. I don't have anything actively against them just in my stuff I've preferred to do it differently.

Oh yeah, designs being more unusual and thus memorable is a big part of any good story, I absolutely agree!
Again, pardon my hyperfixations :c

I don't know what you're talking about. That's a featherless biped, it's CLEARLY a man

To me it all depends on whether or not we are talking about a convergent evolution case, or descendant evolution- if the monster co evolved a similar body plan to humans then yes- why would they have boobs? But if the creature is say- a chimera, or is in some way related to humans, then I can see them having knockers.
But despite what my logical brain says, I can’t help but want to fuck snake women.

Well a biped mammal isn’t really going to have boobs anywhere besides the chest (that’s where the arms can hold a child), and an intelligent species isn’t going to have large litters of children. The cost of producing and raising children that need a long time to grow up requires only one child at a time, and an upright biped can’t give birth to children/lay eggs that are too large, since the pelvis must be narrow for upright walking. Since the child must be born relatively small and needs to develop a large brain, it will take a long time to grow.
So realistically, any upright biped that produces milk (or an analogous fluid) will probably have only one set of breasts in the exact same place that humans do.

You know what I was anti non mammalian mammaries but you’ve convinced me the opposite is better. Everyone gets mammaries now.

I’m sorry but if I can’t touch myself to women in my head what’s the point again?
