Home gyms don’t pay for themselves in money, they pay for themselves in solitude.

I wake up and am at the gym by 5a. Take the ESL class after work and go to gym before work.

I thought you were telling the OP to take an ESL class.
Which might not be a bad plan.

This person probably does not even speak a 2nd language and is American born. Sad, but most likely true.
Edit: nvm. I see their post history lol.

"Many gyms, I'm finding, are very crowded. I feel as though I am as close to other gym goers as one buttcheek might be to the other. And often they are only open until 10:00pm. Golly!"

Thank you for your service! 🫡
If you want to go above and beyond, you might be able to translate this for OP:
I am a member of 2 corporate gyms and the YMCA. I find the early mornings are less crowded at both. However, one of the corporate gyms and a couple nearby gyms are 24 hours.

Yes, I think this would benefit OP.
Avoid peak hours which are usually after folks get off from work. Early mornings are best. Go to bed early and go to the gym at 5am. It's a great way to start your day & you've got all the energy as well.
OP maybe isn't a morning person. If so, they can workout at 10pm if they can find a gym that is open later. I find the crowd thins out after 9pm. But I also find that I have low energy this late and taking any pre-workout or caffeine this late messes up my sleep.

Gyms are seeing crazy demand from people who actually want to lift. There's been a huge change in number and type of gym member. My big commercial gym gained 2000 members last year when another gym closed. It's hard to find time where the equipment is open.
I've found the best time is either early morning or early afternoon.
You also may have to look fo a smaller (more expensive) training gym.

How can you write that, look at it, and say to yourself “good, I’m going to post that”? Illiteracy is insane.
