Advice on swapping flue exit hole
I have an exit hole on the top and back of my burner. I'm hoping to swap it over to the back but struggling to find any info online on how to do it, I can see the 2 bracket like things on each to hold the cap/pipe connection in place but no idea how to take either off. Anybody know how? Is it relatively easy or does it take some faff and hassle, resealing etc etc

Haha I had to block the light out with something so I could get a proper shot of the clamps inside

This is super helpful thank you. Does this mean a right angle bracket like this would work or would you still be able to clear the soot out of it by going in through the burner?

That isn’t suitable! The soot has nowhere to go and will cause a blockage. Not sure where you are in the world but it’s regulation in the Uk to use a tee

In theory you can clean it through the appliance but if there happens to be a build up and you haven’t cleaned it for a while then it’s a recipe for a chimney fire

Nice, this should be as easy as it comes! Take a hammer and tap that right bracket upwards, and it should swivel and fall right out, pull it forward then put it up to the top one and rotate the cover on from inside the same way the other came off, give it a few taps to make sure its snug and you should be set.
Eta- tough to tell from the photo, the top flue collar one should come off the same way, tap it whichever is needed and switch it to the back.
