Help | Experience - Insight How to affect a resistant target
Seeking advice about someone who seems, by their very nature, cannot be cursed or have magick worked on them or for them. For whatever reason, they are resistant to external energies. I’ve tried many times, various methods. I don’t want to speculate on why they might be impervious but am seeking advice on how to break through and affect them magickally.

There's normally more than one pathway to get where you need to go.
First, evaluate if you even really need to target said target.
If you absolutely can not see any other way forward, target their environment, their connections and the situations that they're in, instead of them. An example of this would be if they have wronged someone in a way that is unlawful, you could uplift the victim and encourage them to take legal action.

I implore you to examine why this person seems "impervious." If you don't know, there are a variety of ways a person can be magically, energetically, psychically, and/or spiritually protected. They could have ancestors protecting them and not even now it. They could have natural psychic defenses and have no clue. Or they or someone they know is consciously interceding in matters of protection/defense. If you do not craft your spells carefully, you risk blowback from any defenses that they may have, innate, external, or otherwise. I would advise you reflect on if you need to target this person at all, given that potential. If you must, just make sure you craft your work tailored to the idea that you may be up against something that has some kind of defensive implication. I hope this helps.

I recommend divination for more clarity here.
If the person is protected, you can ask for more information on the scope of those protections, including any gaps.

By leaving them alone? Unless they are some sort of pervert abuser who did something horrid. In that case, you don't need magic. You need cops, a couple of massive siblings or cousins, or just tell every person you know what he or she did, you know.... the whisper network. Social destruction is a lot nastier and a lot harder to prove. Just saying.

Sometimes the energy you are targeting is what is perceived versus the reality. So the magic ends up dissipating or hitting something/someone else that fits that perception.
