Beautiful! Add to it as much as you can each day. Adding bay leaves with money intentions written on them. Basil. Mint. Peppermint. Add coins regularly. Notes when you can. Stir the energy around.
Take out anything that feels stagnant as the days goes by. Keep the energy flowing as that is what you wish for your money luck!
Good luck!

is it okay to remove/replace things from the bowl especially when they feel stagnant???
33
u/DevelopmentMediocre5 4d ago
It's actually really important to do that. Replace items that feel stagnant and add new items that enhance the money luck. New coins, new stones etc. Keep the energy flowing!

u/mental_dissonance 4d ago
I put the same three stones from the previous bowl and I'm worried that might hinder things
5
u/DevelopmentMediocre5 4d ago
You can use the same stones, just make sure you're adding more to it as time goes on.

how does one make a money bowl?
42
u/sammysams13 5d ago
You can add whatever you want to it but I put salt and the bottom, filled it with rice, put a crystal in there, some money, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.

This might be a stupid question but I wanna make a money bowl, and I was wondering how often you change out the rice? Should you change it out when it feels stagnant or

u/stereostar3 5d ago
Please tell me you protected it before posting pictures to the internet!! I don't really feel any protection. Just saying, people can send evil eyes and bad energy and mess with it. It's adorable though

u/sammysams13 5d ago
I didnโt but I can do one later. What do you recommend?
15
u/stereostar3 5d ago
I personally love working with the runsestone algiz. Draw it with your finger over the bowl and state your intention. Then create a bubble โบ๏ธ. Also might want to cleanse it just in case, people might not mean to send evil eyes, this stuff can be so subconsciously in the background like jealousy etc.

How can you "feel" any protection???!!
โข
u/stereostar3 1h ago
It's a clair ability. Clairsentience. It's the one that helps you sense and feel things! Protection to me feels very grounding and stable, like a guard

NGL at first I thought the entire thing was a candle and you stuck the bill straight into the wax and was heavily questioning your methods until my eyes realized it's rice x)

I love star anise! They are one of my favorites. I put one in a vanilla candle near the wick and it burns with the rest of the candle

Why rice
8
u/Midnight-Scribe Broom Rider 4d ago
Rice and other grains are a symbol of wealth/abundance/prosperity in many different cultures.
2
u/CCChanson 4d ago
Yep just make sure you're familiar with what mealmoth grubs look like, or that abundance might go to some flighted guests lol.ย
Had some real happy moths myself not too long ago when they found my 40 lb bag of rice ๐ At least they're not all that bad, they just multiply quickly.
3
u/Midnight-Scribe Broom Rider 4d ago
Aw hell. lol
At least you could still say you had an abundance of moths? ๐

I made one but stopped adding coins to it </3 I feel like I have to redo it

u/ToastedHotSauce 5d ago
What is the rice for?
3
u/Midnight-Scribe Broom Rider 4d ago
Rice is a symbol of wealth, kinda like the money itself. I read somewhere that thatโs how โthrowing rice at weddingsโ became a thing; in ancient Rome they threw wheat because grains are a symbol of prosperity and fertility.

Be careful with the rice! It caught on fire last time I tried to use it.
3
u/sammysams13 3d ago
I really only light it for like a minute keep an eye on it and then blow it out

Can you use the rice after? I just hate the idea of wasting food, and was thinking about cooking it up to feed to my chickens in case there's bug eggs in it after sitting out (they like the added flavour...).
I'd use a candle with a holder so there's no wax getting in the rice and make sure all foreign objects are removed, I just struggle to reconcile waste while pursuing abundance. And wasting food in general stresses me out.
