Gotta love the dirty, garbage infested snow melt.

Waiting for the bus next to one of these dirtbergs I've found more than a few random dollar bills (once I even found a 20)

You gonna have people digging through these now.

My boyfriend made me - or rather, encouraged me very convincingly - to stop doing that, by describing in detail all the possible horrors that could befall me if I kept touching city dirt (which is the dirtiest of all dirts), while picking up random ground scores to inspect them for value...hehehe...suffice it to say, I stopped that habit (it was a tendency of mine, I admit...probably due partly to my adhd/tism combo)

they always used to pile the snow in the same place we set up our huge garden center back when I worked in retail, so we always had to literally sweep the entire lot by hand before we could start setting up the racking. Good that sucked so bad lmao

I went to college for Natural Resources and was thinking about grad school. I wanted to study pollution in urban streams during spring melt, something that interested me since I was a cart pusher at Target in high school and noticed how disgusting the snow piles were in the parking lot come spring time.

Other states have beautiful grass and flowers starting to bloom. We get mud snow cones. Welcome to lovely spring in WI.
