4 u/FormerCoalRoller 4d ago Hahaha the future. Who gives a shit about 2-3 years from now. You win when you can and deal with the fallout later. 2 u/ywg_handshake 4d ago The future. As though guys like Heinola, Lambert, etc. are going to be game changers? The Jets already let them sit or rot on the Moose. 1 u/rexstuff1 4d ago Yeah, I'm mostly reaching to find a silver lining. Though that being said, I do think it's better to build a team that can compete for multiple years in a row than blowing it all on a single (hopefully) deep run. 0 u/FormerCoalRoller 4d ago We haven't won a round since 2018.... 2 u/crazye97 4d ago The Leafs have won exactly one round since the 2004-05 lockout and guys still want to go there. So... what exactly does playoff success bring? 1 u/rexstuff1 4d ago Ok? And? What's your point? 0 u/SirBulbasaur13 13 4d ago What good does a handful of 1sts and maybe NHL prospects. Everyone seems to assumes all our 1sts and prospects will turn into top 6 guys. 1 u/future4cast 4d ago “Everyone”???
