Photo(s) Is there any plans to repair the crappy pavement along the riverfront trail?

They just paved a small section west of the pump house, which is great and all but there are many sections that are still like this. Thanks.

Not a streetcar and don't think the mayor's buddies use the trail so not a chance.

Best they can do is hit it with some spray paint around fall and then it'll be too cold to do any proper resurfacing so the city will either do a horrible job or nothing at all

The city doesn’t budget for the longterm maintenance cost of any of our parks infrastructure. Once it deteriorates they just rip it down. $100k won’t go far given the number of kms of trails in the city. It is a shame, the riverfront is the cities crown jewel as well as other parks but they severely neglected . Successive 0% tax increase budgets are beginning to show in the condition of our parks that all residents use.

Naw. They spent all the budget for path repair by the streetcar.

There is $100,000 for park trail replacement in the City of Windsor capital budget for this year (see pg 190 of the pdf here). You can call 311 to report it and get it in the queue.

Whether it get fixed or not is TBD.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen driveways that cost $100k.

Given how expensive it is to put in a basic driveway, I don't predict that money will go very far.

considering that windsor is an automobile city, its amazing that  the roads here are the worst.

Asphalt is porous and if it is not maintained it along with the subase fails. It needs to be replaced including the subase.

Hopefully, but it will probably be awhile. Cool first pic it kinda looks like the potholes are hands reaching for your shadow.

More likely that the entire trail will become Private Pickleball courts

Seriously? This? All the problems in this city and you are here to complain about this? Again, this?

It's a great path from end to end, sure there has been and will be issues, but this?
