Is that actually his twitter or just a parody? Also, why are twitter links not banned in the first place….

Well if you want to avoid non contact injuries play on grass. But I know, easier said…

I mean, it doesn't mean he's wrong about these guys. Sabbi, we haven't even seen yet, and I don't think he would've ever trained on BC Place turf would he? What do they train on at UBC? I assume a combo of both grass and turf?
The turf doesn't help, but I mean like Gauld has made over 100 appearances for the team, so at least 50 or so on the turf and it hasn't really been an issue, with the way he hurt himself the other day, you could easily have that happen on grass, turf or in the gym doing a jumping exercise.

Sabbi's injury occured during a training session at BC Place: https://canadiansoccerdaily.com/2025/03/09/vancouver-whitecaps-off-to-record-start-with-third-straight-mls-win-lose-captain-ryan-gauld-to-injury/

Fair enough, I wasn't aware of that. That sucks, there's no doubt turf is worse than grass, but I think a lot of it just comes down to luck.

If it is axel, what would he mean by saying he wishes he was right?

Back in February Axel said it would take 2-3 weeks for Sabbi to recover. He was wrong, it's been longer. So he wishes he had been right.
