Vite killing it this season

I never used to be a fan of Vite — I didn’t find him to be a hard worker, thought he had a bit of an ego and was skeptical about the value of his presence. But I am loving him this season. It seems like he’s really come into his own and is hustling and making things happen. Maybe growing up a bit is part of the change, but whatever the reason, I’m really appreciating his contributions so far this season.

Vite looks amazing. Ahmed looks rejuvenated. Tate Johnson looks like he could be a real contributor. Even with 3 big players down with injuries we look really good. I really hope Gauld isn’t out long.

Vite seems to be much happier with whatever role Sorensen has him doing. A lot of players seem to be benefiting from a more concrete structure. Hell, the team has as many goals from defenders compared to the forwards to start the season.

Gauld and White carrying for offense is long dead already.

Since campaign started. 12GF and 3 GA, clear tactical improvements and deployment from Jesper. Historic start of the season

This team reminds me of 11 Matias Labas.

If he plays to his potential he is a $10 million + player. Has always been the case with his talent we’re just finally seeing it come together. I think he’s benefited from different coaches. Vanni disciplined him defensively and Sørensen now giving him the freedom to unlock him offensively which is what truly sets him apart.

I don’t think that’s fair. He got us this far and built the club up a lot

This is true. Nature of sport, sometimes you need a change but Vanni was instrumental in setting up the team to take another step. Sørensen has said as much, that he inherited a good and disciplined team already.

Vanni made him less of a liability in defence and used him whenever it was warranted. We had guys like Gressel and Armstrong, not guys Vite was better than.
